M$ killed my activation! I wanted to download XP mode, it first got me to install some genuine advantage update, it then killed my activation, this is a dell with a modded slic 2.1 in bios! I then tried using 7loader instead, no luck. Do i need to change key? What do I do? The only work around for now is removeWAT... but I prefered having slic2.1 activation...

    Do the following steps
    1. Remove 7 Loader
    2. Change your product key
    3. Validate again

    Dear All

    I did some checks

if Bios Slic is not corresponding with Mainboard M$ kill Bios SLIC so there fore if Bios correspond with Motherboard doesn't kill slic
so there fore before doing something similary i did test on 8 motherboards

1.HP Machine with HP Bios SLIC 2.1 + HP Cert + HP Serial = still OK
2.ASROCK with DELL Bios Mod + DELL Cert + DELL Serial = fail "detected"
3.ACER with ACER Bios Mod + Acer Cert + Acer Serial = OK
4.DELL with DELL Bios Mod + Dell Cert + Dell Serial = OK
5.ASUS With DELL Bios Mod + Dell Cert + Asus Serial = fail "detected"
6.Asus with HP Bios Mod + HP Cert + HP Serial = fail "detected"
7.Asus with Asus Bios Mod + Asus Cert + Asus Serial = OK
8.ASROCK with HP Bios Mod + HP Cert + HP Serail = OK "not fail ?? - still work well"

i did not what happen "but those are Win7 Ultimate " which ones take update and after update fail or pass "OK still work" "fail - meant first was ok after update are fail"

This is a problem with the Validation system.
Even some Valid HP and Dell PC's get flagged as Non-Genuine.

Restarted after changing cert, nothing still not genuine.... I don't think 7loader will work, the update that I installed to make this happen was WindowsActivationUpdate.exe anyone got any ideas how to diagnose the problems?

I do think mainboard manufacturer is not the matter. My mainboards are J&W and Gigabyte, booth with DELL SLIC and both genuine with MS Online Windows 7 Validation Checking.

How did you make the test? Through M$ genuine site (green circle)?
I have access to a PC, same config like 6. I'll report the result later...I bet it will be still genuine.

I might be wrong, but I "smell a rat" here. I had several Asus with DELL and no problem at all.

If what he said was true, most loaders would be history!

all tested machine are with modded bios "i use and work with them daily work"

on the begin all installed well ,works fine, activated, updated well

until some of them "but not all" start to fail to show non-genuine.

so i just listed machine what have ,pass and their actual situation .

all failed I re-validate with DAZ Activator.

i used only Bios Mod + CERT + Serial ,
but how i show this kind of activation start fail "for unknown reason"

as i saying above not all "just some of them"

    regards,Valoni
