Master Password for dell latitude d830 Unlock Setup

    Hi,

    got a problem with a dell latitude e6510, i bought - i cannot unlock the setup, cause the administrative password for the setup unlock is set, so i cannot change values there.

    System-Number is: F10FTM1-2A7B

    I´ll be looking forward for your help ...

    I´ve got a qwertz-keyboard-layout, so i changed "y" with the "z", but he also shows "Incorrect password entered".

    Is there something else, i do wrong ?

    Edit:

    I tried several times and i cannot find the error i made ...

    It´s got the Bios Version "A03" if this may help by finding the solution ...

    Found it !

    Thx a lot, your password works perfectly - but i needed to press CTRL & ENTER at the end :)

    Now I´ve got full access - Very good site :)

    can anyone help me gzoyvc1-595b . i have tried everything i can find to unlock setup, or system password cant fiqure it out . which one is necessary first ,are they the same?.

    My own utility. Copyright (C) 2007-2010 hpgl, Russia
    Short service tag should be right padded with '*' up to length 7 chars
    HDD serial number is right 11 chars from real HDDSerNum left padded with '*'
    Some BIOSes has left pad HDD serial number with spaces instead '*'
    Input: #6K84MF1-595B
    06.03.2012 02:48 DELL service tag: 6K84MF1-595B password: 4hmi2awl

    Ctrl Enter to finish the input.
    also try with 1 memory stick not 2

    what bios version ? (some had issue with generator)

    It has bios A09. I've tried a new keyboard, removed and added memory. We're stumped here. We have done this successfully on many other Dell Machines without any problems.

    I've upgraded the bios to A15 using the usb flash. Still no luck with the code. I guess I'll have to call Dell.

    I could really use some help with this as well. HQSK3H1-3A5B

    I have tried whatever tools I can find, but none seem to work on 3A5B. Any help would be appreciated.
