maybe in that update for windows 8.1 in March? I don't see skydrive anywhere used a registry file to disable skyedrive integration Dropbox FTW with 70 GB Free space that I got: 20 GB from Referrals 50 GB coz i signed in with my Galaxy S3 in the past so they give u 50 GB free for 2 years
might be worth making sure you have all your stuff backed up from there before the switch, just in case MS makes a doodoo of your skydrive files.

how in the world does OneDrive make more sense than SkyDrive? SkyDrive is a drive in the sky or cloud. It sounds completely sensible. OneDrive..what exactly is that supposed to mean? It sounds more like a "We don't have a clue what to call the thing now, we didn't expect this" moment.
Did you miss the part (2nd sentence) where SkyDrive was being renamed due to a copyright dispute, hence they can't use that name anymore? If anything, it falls in-line with the Xbox One. Could be a sign that they're changing some naming schemes to include... One
