here is ats report from 1.6 bios: Hope you can find something interesting, if they change the cert to full mega book, we can use simply the msi cert
Well, there is no much to do, at least someone will find a way to edit the slic table But I think is encrypted Will have to wait a wind with vista from factory
Here's some more info I found out. 1. Medion Akoya doesn't have a bluetooth module built in, maybe that's why it cannot control the bluetooth on the Wind. 2. Medion Akoya doesn't have the built in 1gb RAM which the Wind has. It only has the SODIMM slot in there. If I put a 1gb RAM in it, it is the one detected by the BIOS, and not the soldered RAM.
Well, I´ll have to use the rw everything method. I have the msi cert, but I don´t have an msi serial number, its necesssary msi serial number or any oem will do?
You have a cert for the "hybrid' MSI/MEDIAN SLIC??? Any OEM key will work if you have the correct cert.
nooooouuu, nouu , nouu, nouuu I just have an msi cert to use with rw everything, just a megabook msi cert. I think that the hybrid cert, is not possible Anyway, I have a wind hanging around, so, if there are more info, test, debug, to do, I could help btw, most oem keys, are not working, just keep telling me there is no valid ultimatee key. there are new keys for sp1? can someone send me a working one? ultimate and sp1? thanks!
You got me all excited for nothing....lol. Anyways, the RW-Everything method has been replaced with flagmax's bootloader method, a far superior method. It may work on your computer. Check it out, maybe you can test it on your PC and provide some data. SP1 uses same keys. I don't know why you are having problems with it.
Well, I think that, that was the first time I´ve got excited an english talking person, and the last time, too... I´ll try the new method (described by you, nothing related to an hybrid ), and report
Hey, I don't know much about the guts of bioses, but I've checked the OEM in MSI Wind BIOS 1.08 SLIC. It says: OEM ID 6 0Ah 'MSI_NB' OEM Table ID 8 10h 'MEGABOOK' I hope this is the information what you were looking for. I also attached the full table set.
You have one of those "hybrid" MSI/MEDION SLIC. A certificate for that SLIC is not available at this time as far as I know.
