    i'm always getting this:

    See you are using winmountadksetupadm64.exe /install instead of wimmountadksetupamd64.exe /install

    check out the file naming of the windows 8.1 update 1 files you have downloaded

    It should be like this

    Windows8.1-KB2937592-x86.msu
    or
    Windows8.1-KB2937592-x64.msu

    and not Windows8.1-KB2937592-x86-asdsdsdsdsdfdff.cab or something like that.

    Sorry but aren't the updates for 8.1 update 1 still yet to be determined are actually RTM? Last time I heard there was a new build out internally or something that would suggest the leaked version is an RTM-Escrow build and not the actual RTM build.

    17031 is not the version in the adk. The adk has 17029.
    I'm thinking MSMG might have missed a file or something.
    Or perhaps he copied the files he thought were necessary but missed some that would normally be present on a win8.x machine?
    I think I posted a waik5.1 folder link some pages back that you can copy/paste tools from.
