    Again Updated the ToolKit Script.

    Changes :

+ Fixed the Menu Option Bug
+ Replaced the WADK Build 17031 with 17029 due to some people facing error when using on Windows 7/8x.

Unfortunalty the script doesn´t work for me at all. I can download all the updates but when I want to use option 2 to integrate it says the update folder is empty. Also the install.wim can´t be found although I copied everything into the DVD folder. What am I doing wrong? :(

    Both alike, a dism problem.
I had the same thing with the previous pack.
By replacing the Bin\amd64\Dism folder with 8.1 ADK (16384) in my win7 x64, it has worked for me until the end as expected, nice script

Have you the latest toolkit with dism from ADK 17029 ? not tested with it.
May also help wimmountadksetup.exe /Install to install wimmount service (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\WIMMount,ImagePath).

Are you trying to install on 64-bit os, I think the OS Architecture is not getting detected properly, I test the script with 32-bit OS and worked properly.

see in the error you have specified, Its missing the Windows8.1-KB2919355-x64.cab... this is due to not getting knowing the Architecture.

Ok I will fix it and then update the script.

Did you copy the Windows Setup DVD contents to DVD folder. mainly the boot.wim and install.wim should be DVD\sources folder. if not then the script won't detect the install.wim and so the wim arch and so the updates folder arch and so the script doesn't work.

I have tested the script many times and it's working good, do check out the instructions once again and try it..

am using the latest ADK 17031 files which I have extracted from the install.wim and its works good on windows 8x but for Windows 7 it's not working properly.. so I did changed the ADK to ver 17029 but I haven't tested on Windows 7 coz I don't use it.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, i double checked. I copied all the files from the ISO to the DVD folder and checked if boot.wim and install.wim are there.
I am using Win 8.1 x64 and the German ISO but that shouldn´t make a difference.

    Hi!

    I've a "install.wim" file with two versions: 32-bit and 64bit (Index 1 and Index 2)

It's possible to integrate the Update 1 on these two indexes? I've tried without errors but when testing on Virtual Machine i noticed that is only applied only on 32-bit version and the 64-bit is not affected.

I haven't still included a way to work with multi-architecture wims. but if you select the wim index manually it will work out and if you had selected * while selecting index with multi-architecture wims it will update the first available index architecture based wims only.

May be the UAC or any Antivirus program is causing the problem, try disabling it and see what happens.

Yes you have copied the source files to right folder but still it's not detecting the install.wim, does anyone else is facing the same problem with non-English version. I need some time coz I don't use or have non-English os's to know what's the actual error. in fact today I tested the integration in my main toolkit too it works properly. so just wait for some time i will update.

Tested with german WIMs here, no problems. Afaik DISM operates language independed.

Yes, but the output of dism will be the localized language, once one of the mdl member had a problem using the toolkit where the wim architecture was detected as the dism output displayed the wim info in German language and the toolkit was looking for Architecture : in English language, I had a tough time to find what's the bug and finally include the option /English for dism operation to make it display only output English language. :)

Thanks for the guide, just a newbie here and this might be stupid but the only 8.1 ISO I have lying around is Win81AIO-x64-en-US-ESD-Baseline made by murphy; Got this one because having an AIO installer is more convenient.

I was looking around for a tool to extract ESD to a .wim but no luck.

Out of curiosity, I am currently updating the ISO with your tool.
So far it's on the 5th update already; takes twice as long though since there's an index 1 and an index 2.

Edit: Updates finished but I'm an unable to make an ISO

    Edit:

Was able to make an ISO by bypassing two checks on the script.
Didn't work with VMware though it throws this error.

    kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1032711

Swapping with the untouched ISO from murphy works on vmware so I guess I did botched this one.
I'll keep an iso with .wim instead next time.

This Script works with WIM Images, My NEW version of Main ToolKit supports Windows 8.1 Store Updated ESD Images but not the normal exported ESD Images.

In future I will added support for it.
