If more questions appear, post in the Sysprep/Silent REPO from my sig, to not clutter the thread here .
So I know how to convert wim to esd, but doesn't anyone think that the toolkit should do it? Why would it tell me there is no install.esd when it is right in front of my eyes?
ToolKit-v7.2 Can not integrate windows sidebar. Errors saying can not find sidebar_.tpk. I've added a line if "%ImageDefaultLanguage%"=="en-US" set "PackageLanguage=en-US" to the integrate windows sidebar section of the script because mine is en-US and it now works. Maybe someone else can confirm the error.
People who integrate games, directx9 packs will have permission issue on their installs. Those are still not fixed afaik, or I missed MSMG's post that he corrected them. Cheers.
Is these files updated in the mirror link as well? Also do i integrate the .net 4.6.2 and 4.7 and 3.5 as the last step after removing all the useless stuffs?
I haven't changed it coz it's in Retail only from long back, check the previous versions. I have just added the ability to upgrade whatever editions the install.wim is allowing to upgrade. If you want to try EnterpriseG, you could use a Chinese Language Enterprise ISO or add the Chinese Language Pack and then upgrade to EnterpriseG.
Where are you checking it, is it in Select Source from DVD option, if yes, it won't recognize it since it requires a .wim file. You need to use Convert->Convert Store ESD to WIM Image and then Select->Select Source from DVD The current ToolKit can convert - Windows Store ESD for W81/W10 - MCT ESD Image with .wim Extension for W81/W10 - Custom ESD to WIM Image But I haven't tried with the newer combined ESD/MCT Images coz I haven't have the images to try out.
Everything went good so far while removing windows components and Default Metro Apps in Server 2016 , 1607 and 1703 Thank for fixations ,MSMG
The Current DISM Method is not allowing to remove some components when the .NET Framework 3.5 is added first and this is happening only for the 64-bit version of OS, so you have to integrate it at the last until some new method is found out. Instead of doing the below steps for each image separately mount the all the images using * and perform the below steps it will apply it to both the images.
That's not what I wanted to say. What I wanted was an option to remove all apps but the Store and not the Store and Xbox apps. Could you answer my remaining questions?
No I haven't fixed it yet and that's why I have removed the Games Pack, But the DirectX pack is there, will make some time free and remake the packs. You said apply Directx pack to the image is not causing the error but it's the registry setting that is right?
