With the Windows 11 Preview build 22621 when trying to remove the ClientWebExperience component I receive the following error: Spoiler: Error Code: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.IO.PathTooLong Exception: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. Great work as always @MSMG !
Already have given tutorial for how to make packs for .NETFX 48, it will be same for other packs with minor changes. Anyway will post a guide in detail for all packs with necessary files required.
Just tested the toolkit 12.3. Windows 10 build 1766 education x64, flawless run. I'm especially happy with the wimlib function for .esd conversion, it's faster and the resulting size is on par with dism. Great work, MSMG!
I was also interested in how to make .tpk files from .exe or other extensions to be integrated offline, for example. skype, adobe among others thank you master
I'm getting this error as well but just when trying to download the latest Win11 DaRT (22621). All the other files I've downloaded have been fine.
@MSMG all, here are my list of components could someone check if they are all of them and if spelling is write? if not could someone post the corrected versions? I noticed UUP dump has component cleanup and was wondering if using it pre-toolkit would cause any issues?
of all there, I believe these are wrong. I did a quick scan with notepad++ WindowsMail LockScreenBackground ScreenSavers SoundThemes Wallpapers WindowsThemes FamilyApp
It should not cause a problem with the use of Toolkit. But for non -integrated components, if you try to remove again, you will only get a return message say the component has already been removed.
@RafhaCorreia so, cause i'm a tad thick, should I assume that the names that you've posted sir would be the correct ones? Majid
Not. I'm looking for the correct names from a reliable source. I don't understand anything about this either, but I did it because I really wanted to help. Hold
The FamilyApp should be just Family, I think I did forgot to sync the updated templates list files to publish folder before uploading the Toolkit. Will add the updated template list and upload a new version.
On 22621.105 when trying to remove components in [2] Multimedia just errors out and goes directly back to the menu and trying to remove the Windows Mail in [3] just gives me a error beep and nothing else. This is my first time meddling with W11 but I remember on W10 it would remove the app and whatever it depended on. After trying to remove the Windows Mail app again [-] which seems to work it is no longer possible to go back in the menu [X] and it also somehow marks all apps in [3] for removal.
I believe there's an updated version of the toolkit which was releaced soon after that bugg was found? are you using the very latest tk version?
