Attention People, In future, Don't be suprised if you find any clones of MSMG ToolKit, Coz, The Cat is out of the Bag Now.. Yes Am Right, One of the MDL Memeber managed to get the Source Code of the MSMG ToolKit by reverse engineering the Executable File. As I said before I was suppose to release the source code with the next release of the ToolKit but even before that now its out of the bag. Anyway, No issues as the New ToolKit is completely changed a lot from the previous one. So, people don't get confused with if any clones of MSMG ToolKit are released... Always download the Origianl MSMG ToolKit from here at MDL.
Update : The NEW ToolKit is working great... am working on Integration of DirectX 9.0c components, right now i have finished with extracting the dlls and xmls and only the registry settings is left. am waiting for official release of Windows 8.1 Update 1 so that I can include the those integration features too with this.
MSMG I've noticed on DaRT 8+ that the diskcommander and file restore options need an additional package WINPE-FMAPI.cab (arch specific) When I orginally did the DaRT mount and copy folders, I did not notice the difference. The win7 version doesn't seem to need it. You would probably need to find the equivalent for 8.0 from the 8.0 adk in the WINPE_OCS folder. This is just a non-pwd 7z lzma2 file with the 2 cab files in it. View attachment 27711 edit: It seems that simply copying over the the fmapi.dll to the system32\ directory of the winpe image will suffice. No need to add the package... I'll update the folder downloads..

Some of the tools work on Win7, but some do not. Like, you could probably edit the registry and do a system file scan or something. However, doing hotfix uninstalls or defender scans wouldn't work as the OS are completely different.
Understood, but, I integrate 3.5 and some other minor mods I do before all else-tried twice, same result-it just closes out without error or warning-thanks; MSMG Toolkit deletes my boot.wim when I launch the toolkit and select integrate Dart 8.1-or any other modification. It does the same thing with the install.wim when I select integrate hotfixes-or anything else-it spills the file not found error after it first deletes the file. I had no problem with w81u1 integrating the spring update-everything went smooth as silk-wierd eh? With Windows 8.1 RTM GA Update 1 17031 (17045 after the recent hotfix) integrated M$ update shows all good. I attached a list of those hotfixes required after 17031-in case it helps. This was checked after a fresh install with the list integrated for March. Windows 8.1 Pro x64

boot.wim and install.wim is deleted only when you are rebuilding the wim and replacing the new one with the old one, if at the stage of replacing the wim the toolkit is terminated then you can't find the boot.wim and install.wim in its original location. so check whether you have enough storage space also the toolkit depends on few log files for getting the wim info like index architecture and based on this the toolkit decides the whole process so for any instance if these log files aren't created at first place properly then the toolkit will either terminates without any notice or may give error like file not found. also one more thing will found out recently is that if any dism operations like integration of cabs are terminated in the middle, the dism won't work properly for the next operation and it will give errors like dism cant fine the file specified. even if you do disk cleanup operation it won't work, some times I have to do fresh start. anyway as the new version of toolkit is ready and am just sorting out the files for deployment so wait for few more days.
and forgot to mention the Windows Store ESD Image to WIM Image Conversion is completed and that will be added to ToolKit along with the Windows 8.1 u1 Update integration.
In one or two days coz one of the feature - windows sidebar needs some fix, if it gets late then i will remove windows sidebar feature in the new version and release it.. everything else is working properly just need to pack the files and upload it. just now tested and completed the Windows 8.1 update 1 integration script and now it's time for the new version of the main toolkit.
I have realized that WMC integration (tested on new x64 iso) replaces Pro and eliminates Core, can you please have the new version just add ad Index 3 leaving Index 1&2 intact? also when adding .net and removing appx can we have * for all indexes instead of doing each one? thanks again!!!!!!!
