Not that easy to please all users needs . This would need to export the indices you need to a new WIM, the process order will define the index order inside the new WIM . Not that hard to do by one himself. For that reason i created my DISM script more modular, to have most options available .
Right now the NEW version of ToolKit which is yet to be released does - As a Starting point, Mounts the Boot.wim Index 1 & 2, Install.wim (Selected Index), WinRE.wim Index 1 - Perform necessary Integration/Removal/Customize operation - Apply/Discard Changes, Rebuild Source WIM Images - Make ISO, Burn ISO to DVD/USB, Copy/Sync to USB, Format USB Yes in the NEW version it won't delete the rest of the indexes but rather it will replace the pro with prowmc. and still I haven't added simultaneous multi-index operations as there are various features integration and removal added to the toolkit, it may require more time to make changes for simultaneous multi-index operation. Today updated the Toolkit Features to Windows 8.1 Update 1, everything working properly including Troubling Sidebar Issue, Just Need to Test the ESD Conversion & Windows 8.1 Update 1 Integration Feature one more time.
Recommend to wait for the new version by MSMG. This solution is ways easier to use . [You still can find mine in my sig (3rd link)]
Yep the present version won't remove Photos and other un-installable metro apps but the new version 1.05 it will remove all apps. wait till tomorrow for good news
Good News, I have seized the further development of ToolKit for release of 1.05. right now am preparing the screenshots, change log and sorting and packing the files, so tomorrow I will sure release the ToolKit.
That's because the ToolKit uses the tools like ImageX.exe, Oscdimg.exe and latest version of DISM to operate so it's requires the latest version of Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit. Don't worry, the latest version of the ToolKit which I will be releasing tomorrow comes built-in with WADK tools, so you don't need to download or install any extra tools. it just needs the .Netfx35 to be installed for removing metro apps and that too the toolkit will detect and install the .netfx35 if it's not been installed. I don't need any Payment or offer for making a ToolKit, you can just use my new version of toolkit to remove the metro apps.
Msmg, did * to update all indexes for .net and for apps removal/dissociate make it into v1.05? Thanks again!!!
Well still no support for simultaneous multi-index operation, as some of the integration features I have added like WMC Add-on, WMC Generic Tokens, Data-Deduplication (x64 Only) can't be added all wim editions so first I will release the single index operations and then make a way for multi-index operation to operate smoothly and also thinking of including the online installation options too so that's why I haven't included the multi-index operations yet. but the latest one is working smoothly without any hitch.
Gentleman, please behave, no need to push the dev . Besides the checks whether all features implemented correctly it still needs a lot of testing ...so patience again becomes a virtue.
Today, am totally exhausted feeling sick while preparing screenshots, change log, packing the ToolKit files and uploading the ToolKit to my drop box account, still Thin PC Add-on Packages Pack is to be uploaded.. as I do have a slow internet connection with slow upload rate, huge files gets half way terminated. especially the ToolKit Packs files are around 1 GB when 7ziped. I know won't be able to modify the procedures and screenshots in the first post today itself, But I will post the links to the NEW MSMG ToolKit v1.05 in a short while with change log.
