Checkout Added the Link for Internet Explorer 11 Pack file (IE11.7z) for MSMG ToolKit. Does anyone else facing any other issues with using the ToolKit on Windows 7/8x. I have checked the TooolKit for all OS's on Windows 8.1 and they are working properly and also I have captured the screenshots for the ToolKit and just need to upload them to the First Post.
Suggestion: [1] Make a ISO Image Code: ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ MSMG ToolKit - Make a DVD ISO Image for Burning to DVD Disc ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ░░░░Starting Building a DVD ISO Image░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ░░░░Getting DVD ISO Image Details░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enter the ISO Volume Label : Windows-8.1-U1-Pro-WMC-x64 Enter the ISO File Name : Windows 8.1 Update 1 Professional WMC Enter ISO/PC Boot Type [1 = BIOS, 2 = UEFI] : 1 Is possible add one more option to Enter ISO/PC Boot Type? Code: Enter ISO/PC Boot Type [1 = BIOS, 2 = UEFI, 3 = BIOS_UEFI] : 3 Thanks in advance.
Actually in the option UEFI Boot Type I have added the support for contains BIOS data too, it will boot on both the firmwares and that's why I removed the the third option.
Actually I have added Administrative manifest for the ToolKit EXE to run Administrative privilege. Will see how to implement it
Will check and report EDIT: Checked the Integration of NETFX35 using Windows 8.1 system, It worked properly on my side. Need to check using Windows 7.
I have a Windows 8.1 with Update 1 ISO, and i want make a USB bootable to clean install Windows 8.1 Update 1 ProWMC/NET3.5 x64. What additional package updates and Hotfixes i need integrate to this? What is the order of integration? Thanks for the help.
1) Integrate NET35 2) Integrate WMC 3) Integrate WMC Generic If required 4) Integrate Any Language Packs If required 5) Integrate Update KB2934018 6) Choose Apply Source & Re-Build Source 7) Choose Select Target and then choose Copy Source to USB
I have the cache.dat, tokens.dat and data.dat files to pre-activation, then i only need put this files to C:\W81\Packs\PreAct, right? If i want add others updates, for example: Code: KB2899189 (Update for Microsoft Camera Codec Pack for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems) KB2942844 (Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems) KB2894853 (Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems) KB2933809 (Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems) Is necessary a order of integration, or just put the all updates files in the directory C:\W81\Updates\w8x\x64\Install? Thanks.
Hi MSMG, Thanks for all your hard work! What is the best way to integrate the updates that didn't make it into the newest released 8.1 with update install ISO? I'm not clear if the updates need to be duplicated over multiple folders within each of x86 & x64, or can be put in one place. I also don't know if the updates that are already there, were as thoroughly integrated as they could have been. Any clarification will help. Thanks,
Hi, But you kept the 3rd option when creating a bootable flash drive. May I know why? Maybe just a small mistake? Good job... Thank you!
Yes i have kept the 3rd option in creating bootable flash drive and it's only for formatting the usb in fat32(BIOS, UEFI) or ntfs (BIOS). i will change it in the next version to be more simple
Starting from ToolKit v1.05 it is mandatory to use Windows 8.1/Server 2012 R2 with Update 1 as source OS, as most of the features of ToolKit has been updated to Update 1. I would suggest you enable wmc+netfx35 first if you are using it and then integrate KB2934018 alone and then integrate what ever updates released after that. copy the x86 updates to updates\w8x\install\x86 folder and x64 updates to updates\w8x\install\x64 folder. Updates\w8x\Media - Windows Setup Media Updates (Implemented only for Update 1 Integration) Updates\w8x\Install - Regular Updates Updates\w8x\WinPE - Updates related to Boot/WinRE/WinPE Updates (Not Yet Implemented) am very busy so still i haven't updated the first post with instructions for using the NEW ToolKit. also the mdl forum doesn't allow more than 10 images for a post. so am preparing the screenshots to reduce the amount of images to be posted. check out the new added screenshots.
Yes if you have backed up the tokens files cache.dat, tokens.dat and data.dat then copy them to C:\W81\Packs\PreAct folder. if you haven't backed up the tokens files then the toolkit will ask to copy the tokens from local system and if you choose yes it will copy the tokens to the C:\W81\Packs\PreAct folder. when asked for product key enter your windows product key or if you are using wmc then use the wmc key. after you integrated KB2934018 alone, then you can copy the remaining updates to the updates\w8x\x64 folder and select integrate windows security updates and hot-fixes from the toolkit integrate menu. make sure the updates are applicable and integrated to the particular os using.
And I have the same Problem, trying to integrate Net 3.5 (Error: 0x800f081f) it stops at 60.4% (E:/MSMG-ToolKit/Packs/NetFX35/(64 & 86) And these are original Windows 8.1 ISOs with update 1 that I'm using - German
