did you integrated the language pack to the ISO? if so, the update were the language files probably. language pack needs to be integrated before updates, therefore, integrating tha language pack to the complete iso's will result in using downloadig the updates again.

for the information....MS updated the Update1 package with new KB2959977. :) Released today.

Will check about the issues with using ToolKit on Windows 7.

KB2919335 package has been changed a lot since it was first released in march. Microsoft yesterday added one more update KB295997 to the list of update packages that comes with the KB2919335.

If you had enabled any features like Netfx35, WMC the windows update will again provide the Update package KB2919335 for installation but the size of the package offered will be different as it varies with the windows 8.1 os edition and the features that are enabled with.

also you need to integrate/apply the newly released windows 8.1/server 2012 R2 language packs with update 1.

Yes i will be adding the option to ToolKit to integrate Apps (Addons) to install.wim. at lot of features are there in my list to add to the toolkit.

so, in next major version the Apps (Addons) integration will be there.

I've the problem that the ToolKit v1.07 does not recognize install.esd in the source folder. I use the Download Source from Windows 8.1 pro, w/o Update 1, in german language.

Yes, I've copied the whole files and folders from the original <esd\windows\> folder.

The message is, that ToolKit can't find the file!

    Hi,
yes, I have enabled the NET3.5.

Is there any to get everything in the ISO, even using W8.1.1 official iso + integrating the updates with the toolkit? In this case would I get prompted again for the update?
I don't have any problem to download the updates (80mbit fiber) but I would like to deploy my ISO to some friends with poor connections.

Do you mean you copied the content of the ESD to that folder or the content of the whole ISO :g:?

You said you copied the esd files/folders to the DVD folder, but the below screenshots shown for selectinng the wim files, if you have placed the store updated/downloaded install.esd file inside <DVD\sources> folder it will ask for conversion of ESD to Wim image. did you see any such messages..

see if you are using the Store ESD image as source you just need the install.esd file to be placed inside <DVD\sources> folder the rest the toolkit will take care, it will extract the boot.wim, insall.wim and the setup dvd media files from the install.esd and pack them to wim images and copy back the newly created wim images along the setup dvd media back to <DVD\sources> folder.

then you can again choose select source from toolkit main menu this time it will show the below screen along the list of wim indexes present and ask for the index no to serviced.

please do check again the steps properly, see the screenshots in the first post..

    Hi MSMG,

Is there any chance of a specific folder for the two update files that didn't make it into the new ISOs? This would be KB2934018 & KB2959977? Then maybe option #1 could be used for this. One trivial matter, in the Wim status section, the 'c' has been left out of Servie Pack.

    Thanks,

    1) For Updating Windows 8.1 RTM/GA to Windows 8.1 with Update, you can use the 1st option from Integrate Menu. I will make changes in the next version to integrate the two new updates KB2934018 & KB2959977.

    2) For Updating Windows 8.1 with Update to new updates KB2934018 & KB2959977, you can just use the 2nd option from Integrate Menu to integrate those two updates. first copy the update KB2934018 to <Updates\w8x\x86\Install> or <Updates\w8x\x64\Install> folder and integrate the update using the toolkit. then copy the update KB2959977 to <Updates\w8x\x86\Install> or <Updates\w8x\x64\Install> folder and integrate the update using the toolkit.

Thanks for mentioning the Symantec error in the Wim status section, I will correct it.

    Sir MSMG,

Please help me to solve my situation.

I had installed Windows 8 Pro and Activated using KMS. After that I added WMC feature using the GENUINE Media Center key Offered me by Microsoft and the OS got Permanently Activated. Then I have updated my Laptop to Windows 8.1 using windows update. Now I am using the latest updated operating system - Windows 8.1 Pro with media center which is permanently activated.

Now I want to create a PRE-ACTIVATED iso image using my present Activation (Windows 8.1 Pro with media center).

Please instruct me how to create it.

With Thanks, waiting for your help.

    Just follow this method:

You said, you have a activated copy of Windows 8.1 Pro WMC, then just copy the activated tokens to "PreAct" folder inside the Pack or if you don't know how to copy tokens, don't worry my ToolKit can do it.

    a) Copy the windows 8.1 Pro Retail ISO contents to DVD folder.
    b) Run the ToolKit and choose the 1st option Select Source to select and mount the wim images.
    c) Choose the 2nd option Integrate Menu and then choose the option Integrate Windows Media Center Add-on.
    d) Choose the 2nd option Integrate Menu and then choose the option Integrate Pre-Activated Tokens.
    e) If you hadn't copied the activated tokens files inside the "PreAct" folder then the toolkit will ask "Do you want to copy the tokens to PreAct folder from live system".
    f) Choose yes and then the ToolKit will ask for the WMC Key, enter the whole key including the '-'s.
    g) Then the ToolKit will integrate the WMC Key and the Activated Tokens files.
    h) Then from the Main menu select the option Apply Target and then choose Apply changes to Apply changes made to the wim images.
    I) Then from the Main menu select the option Apply Source and the choose Re-Build to re-build the wim images.
    J) Then from the Main menu select the option Select Target and then choose Make a DVD ISO Image and follow the instructions
    I) you will find the final ISO Image in the ISO folder.
