If i remove "Microsoft Telemetry Services" who contains "Delivery Manager", will apps like candy crush and minecraft stop installing at background on fresh windows installs?
I was in doubt about DART, should I integrate with BOOT.WIM and WINRE.WIM or only with one? What's the difference of DART in the two. Thank you.
The boot.wim can be boot up when the system is crashed, the winre.wim you can start from a running windows by running: reagentc /boottore. After it reported succesful you can reboot and it will boot to the recovery environment.
Thanks for the quick response. So the correct thing is to integrate DART into boot.wim and winre.wim. Is there any way to start DART other than the ones above?
On windows 7 you can hit F8 during boot to boot up to the recovery environment (on 8.x and up, F8 is not enabled by default).
If anyone has downloaded Windows_InsiderPreview_ADK_en-us_16257.iso, then please do upload the deployment tools folder from <Program files\WinKits> folder.
@MSMG: I have some more info about the issue with the store not working. It only happens on Windows 10 LTSB x64, image made with the latest toolkit. I've already tried to fix it with a powershell cmdlet, completed successfully but it didn't help. To narrow down on the issue, I've managed to make a folder listing of the Windows apps dir in "program files" dir: Code: Directorio de C:\Program Files\WindowsApps 09/08/2017 09:44 p.m. <DIR> Deleted 09/08/2017 09:30 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.0.10332.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.0.10332.0_neutral_split.scale-100_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:30 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.0.10332.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:06 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.0.1471.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:29 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.2.2002.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:06 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3_1.3.24201.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.3_1.3.24201.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:30 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.6_1.6.24903.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:29 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework.1.6_1.6.24903.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 10:23 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.3_1.3.23901.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 10:23 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.3_1.3.23901.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:29 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:29 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.6_1.6.24903.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.6_1.6.24903.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp_11608.1000.2431.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp_11706.1707.7010.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp_11706.1707.7010.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:31 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp_11706.1707.7104.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:06 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00_14.0.24605.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:06 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.VCLibs.140.00_14.0.24605.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1612.3343.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1612.3343.0_neutral_split.scale-100_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1705.1303.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1705.1303.0_neutral_split.scale-100_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1705.1303.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_2017.510.2201.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsCamera_2017.214.20.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsCamera_2017.619.10.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:43 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsCamera_2017.619.10.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:42 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsCamera_2017.619.10.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11606.1001.39.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 12:07 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11606.1001.39.0_neutral_split.scale-100_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:43 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11706.1001.26.0_neutral_split.language-es_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:43 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11706.1001.26.0_neutral_split.scale-100_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:43 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11706.1001.26.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:43 p.m. <DIR> Microsoft.WindowsStore_11706.1001.264.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe 09/08/2017 09:29 p.m. <DIR> MovedPackages I've even gone so far as to copy the Store files from a working x64 system, didn't work either. On x86 it works fine, this issue started when you uploaded the new store files. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it is a Spanish Windows 10 image? Any pointers are most welcome. Cheers.
Today I will release the next version of ToolKit, please do check and see if it works this time. And I will also test with x64 build and report back.
i've just tested it and it worked like a charm, thank you my friend. i used the script in this post, unmount registry, run the cmd fle script , mount registry then apply and save then create new iso and at the end of the install, indeed cortana was disabled from win10. The disk space, though was not affected, i mean there was no extra disk space saved, i thought that disabling cortana will allow to give some extra disk space but it wasn't the case. Is it normal ?

@MSMG : first of all , thank you for this great tool, it is really wonderful, you did a great job my friend by creating this tool. i saw that the tool does not support install.esd file, i know that you can convert your wim file esd file later but it will be extra work for me. i tested your tool to integrate Dart into winre.wim using install.wim fle and it worked like a charm but the problem like i said is that i already have compressed esd files and i wanted to integrate Dart tool directly into esd file but it's not possible to do it as your tool does not recognize install.esd file. So if you could make this tool support install.esd file as source as well, that would be great.
