I also played with vm's on my testpc (when it still was my mainpc), it also has just 4GB ddr2 ram, 2GB for a VM is enough
I know this toolkit isn't really recommend for Windows 10 Insider Builds. But I used it for Insider Build 16281 x64. To remove all apps except for Feedback. But those apps "Candy Crush Soda Saga, March of Empires, Minecraft, and Microsoft Solitaire Collection". Keep auto installing themselves. I got Windows 10 WU configured to not auto update.
well MSMG always warn @ all users that this application is for use at your own risk him is not responsable for nothing in none manner then...
Removing 3rd Party Apps/Consumer apps has been moved to Customize->Tweaks section. Removing All Apps/All Apps except Store will remove all the tiles on the Start Menu.
I know that. I'm saying I used it to remove all apps except Feedback app. No other apps appear when I installed the modified Insider Build but after a while Windows will auto install ""Candy Crush Soda Saga, March of Empires, Minecraft, and Microsoft Solitaire Collection" in the backgound. I uninstall those apps then Windows still auto install them. Using Toolkit 7.6
I know that. But it good to let him know that Microsoft had changed something as that change will apply for the windows 10 fall creators update.
@ MSMG I have one big curiousity why since I start with Toolkit I always see that in all O.S. ever start with this:31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.15063.0 (in this case working with version 1703 of course)?
Hi. I have integrated all of these features using integrate language packs menu, not the integrate updates menu.
Hello. Does the MSMG Toolkit allows me to remove an update from the Install.wim file? I am asking because in the MSMG Toolkit menu there is a note stating that do not integrate a language pack before an update, so first I wanted to integrate a language pack, then I wanted to integrate the 296 update again to ensure I have all polish dependent resources. The problem is that when I wanted to integrate the same update, after 99% stage there is a message like that: Your image is corrupted. Discart the image modification and start again. The command completed with errors. I am using murphy78 creators update US build. Thanks
I would like to contribute to this project by creating a custom package, kind of like DirectX 9 package that exists now, but for the latest VC++ libraries. I was wondering if someone could tell me HOW to do it? I assume I will need some program that will capture registry changes that occur during VC++ installation, which I would then export, and also similar program that captures file changes/additions that occur during VC++ installation, which would let me know which files to copy into the package. I guess I should try RegMon for the registry part and Everything for file part? What then? How do I actually package it into CAB or whichever form that MSMG Toolkit can accept? Of course I would then need to test and I am not exactly sure on how to do that either...
Windows 8.1 has faster boot and the system as a whole is faster than 10 on my PC. I did not see advantages in Windows 10, just a headache and more work to make the system to my liking. I'm downgrading to 8.1.
I'm not going back to Windows 8.1. I been using Windows 10 for 3 years when October 1st comes this year and been using MSMG Toolkit for just over 2 years. This toolkit has always been easy to use and never caused me any problems yet.
@ AeonX yep I agree 100% Windows 8.1 is the better bet without doubt untill 2023 in my humble opinion, still Windows 10 works fine here but I don't support more constant updates and this O.S. never are definitive always beta unfortunately M$FT take this wrong decision so after 2023 all us I think that go to open source O.S. then I'm sure that M$FT open your eyes trust me dude
