Is there a way to make the first install user be the fully-enabled and built-in Administrator account?
i put ga rollup updates (msu and cab format) in x86 folder... when i select integrate ga rollup it says that the folder is empty... another problem: View attachment 25721 i'm using official italian iso.. can you fix these problems and add integration of both versions (86-64bit)? thanks
The Only Way to Enable the Built-In Administrator Account as the First Install User is by using the Autounattend.xml file, in which Enable the In-Built Administrator Account and Set it as the Autologon User. Either you can place the Autounattend.xml in the root of the iso/usb or you can apply the Autounattend.xml to the image, but applying the Autounattend.xml to image doesn't apply all the settings as it should.. Unattend Setup or Autounattend.xml will be added to the MSMG ToolKit soon.
I have tried several times and This is the first time am seeing this error, please tell me these details - Your Host OS on which you are running the ToolKit - Check you have enough space in the working drive - Did you Copied/extracted the ISO contents to DVD Folder - Your Windows 8.1 OS Version and whether it is downloaded from Microsoft as ISO or did u used the upgrade assistant to download the files and then created the ISO. - Check whether the \DVD\Sources\ folder contains boot.wim, install.wim. If there is install.esd then you can't use this ToolKit or any other Tools to integrate the install.esd. - The GA Rollup update contains three files Windows8.1-KB2894179-x86.msu, Windows8.1-KB2883200-x86.msu, Windows8.1-KB2894029-x86.msu, just place this files in Updates\GA\x86 Folder. No need for .cab files as the ToolKit extracts .msu files automatically.
Hi MSMG I want to make an iso with wmc integrated and Pre-Activation Details for Auto-Activation. What key must I enter for Auto-Activation, the windows key or the wmc (windows media center) key? I am making the new iso with msc installed, so I believe it will backup the wmc tokens.dat, data.dat, cache.dat Regards Luke
- Host OS: Windows 8 Pro - I've about 774GB free - Extracted iso content in DVD Folder - Windows 8.1 Multiple Edition (86-64bit) - MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X64.ITALIAN.DVD-WZT and MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.8.1.RTM.X86.ITALIAN.DVD-WZT - It contains wim files and not esd files - The GA Rollup update contains three files Windows8.1-KB2894179-x86.msu, Windows8.1-KB2883200-x86.msu, Windows8.1-KB2894029-x86.msu, just place this files in Updates\GA\x86 Folder. Yes, i put these files in that folder...
Sorry, I didn't get what you saying about msc, what's "msc", please say in detail. regarding the pre-activation details, you need to place the "data.dat", "tokens.dat" & "cache.dat" from the Windows\Systems\Spp\Store\2.0 Folder to MSMG\Packs\PreAct Folder. Then You need to enter the Windows Key when asked while integrating. In future I will make the ToolKit to Automatically Copy the Activation Files from SPP Folder to MSMG\Packs\PreAct Folder.
Please can you post a screenshot of your msmg working directory structure and also if there is any log files present in the Logs Folder.
Hi again MSMG Ups my bad, It should have been wmc (windows media center) (Then You need to enter the Windows Key when asked while integrating) So can I use/enter the windows media center key for integrating/Auto-Activation? My current windows 8.1 pro has wmc installed, so it is activated with the wmc key.
Hello MSMG, I have the same problem as dante96. I select integrate ga rollup it says that 'the folder is empty', but the updates are in there.
If you have installed Windows 8.1 and then installed WMC Key, then for Auto-Activation ISO you need to Insert the WMC Key. and also you need the Activation Tokens "data.dat", "tokens.dat", "cache.dat".
