In step A I copied all the files from the ISO image's "sources" folder to "Toolkit\DVD\sources" to be able to start (otherwise no go), but the final result of following the instructions is this (Toolkit\DVD\sources):
Used the MS link provided here for Enterprise N x64 RS1 to download a ESD then used ESD Decrypter 37 to create the ISO. The OS I'm using was installed from that ISO.

Answered "No" to both questions. Used app list to remove all but Sticky Notes, Alarms, Calculator, StorePurchaseApp, Store, Xbox.TCUI. With Enterprise you get a lot of "don't exist" messages. Removed all components. Left IE UI and the last 3 advanced components: D,I,J,K (not removed). Wish there was a template list like the app list to remove some of the advanced components. Do I still need the App pack for 10 RS1 if the host OS is the same as the target one? Also, in Customize there's a "Enable DISM" option, there was a one line explanation here, but still don't know if I should enable it.

For 1607-14393.0 LTSB, do you need to update 4.6.2 and 4.7 before you update to 4.7.1? Can you just select 4.7.1 for the original 1607-14393.0? Would that bring it all up to date (aside from NetFX 3.5 of course) ? If I want to use MSMG Toolkit 8.0 to integrate DX9 and remove components (first step), then use W10UI (4.2) to update the image (second step), then I should skip removing Manual Setup component with MSMG Toolkit before updating all WIM parts with W10UI (for it to copy the updated setup file), and perform Manual Setup component removal with MSMG Toolkit (third step) after W10UI finishes updating all WIM parts - is that correct or not?
I can't answer all of that but I can tell you you only need the latest version of .NET 4 when you integrate/install it. It's like a cumulative update.
hi MSMG and others ; Although i have removed all windows components and all metro applications , the "notepad" shortcut always stays on my start menu after clean install. What am i doing wrong in using MSMG toolkit ?
That is what I get as well. It would be nice to have a clean final start menu but at least unpin seems to actually work on this one. On this topic, how hard would it be to include the option to pin and unpin shortcuts from an image?
Good morning. Let's say I have an ISO with everything removed and updated until 16299.214 Is it possible to download the .cab that includes 16299.248 and integrate in THIS iso? Or do I need to do the whole process again (remove, integrate, rebuild, apply, etc.)?
