I have succesfully made a "Lite" Windows 10 Pro 1803.17134.5 using MSMG Toolkit. - Thanks again -
Removed all possible but Windows Defender and Hyper V.
- No errors into event viewer -
Problem: I have no clue to disable All Windows defender components as I installed Avast. Since then, I have got BSOD three times (Bad Pool Header) related to antivirus.

The old tricks using Group Policy did not block the new WD and Guard. Does anyone has more info about what I can do to stop completely Windows Defender an Guard ?

I've tried to replace 17133 to 17134, nothing works. Please support a new official ISO from MS Media Creation tool 1803 version.

 

Please, be patient and respect people's work.

ISO was released barely ¿12? hours ago!!!

Use Notepad and use replacement "17133" to "17134" inside Toolkit.cmd ... so easy...

 

I came here to check if anybody else was getting this problem, as I was getting it for my x86 and x64 images.

I am testing with Pro images while I try and find Enterprise EN-GB ISO images. If anybody knows where I can download these, please let me know.

 

Try to rename "DebugTools_w10_rs4.tpk" to "DebugTools_w10_.tpk".
In my case it works...

 

I dont know if this will help someone, but i noticed that after removing defender and smartscreen on an 1709 iso, and then updating from that installed 1709 to 1803 (via windows update) defender remains removed and i think smartscreen is removed too although i need to check that... So i guess defender removal is somewhat working for 1803 ...

 

I've used this for my last Windows version (1709). Microsoft hard update my computer yesterday to 1803, and reinstall all his components and Metro Apps.

I've download the last version of MSMG (8.3) and all works good. I've delete ALL except Calculator, Sticky Notes and Windows Defender. Really happy to have a clean install like that with this OS !
For all of you who have some problems, try to download a clean ISO from Windows Update Tool and follow STEP by STEP the guide for your proper version.... everything should be good

Show more respect friend, MSMG just posted that he needs a few more days to fully update it, please be patient.

 

This and a half. We are being provided with a free tool that makes windows much better. MSMG does not owe us anything but we do owe him quite a bit.

 

I'm sorry, I simply wrote that the method of replacing 17133 to 17334 in the notepad in the file Toolkit.cmd doesn't work for an image of the Windows OS from MS Media creation tool 1803, that's all. I know that the official release of 1803 was 1 day ago and I wrote that author of the utility should check the MS Creation Tool image 1803 also. Many thanks to the author for the excellent utility.

I found it works when replacing equ 17133 to geq 17133 for all instances. I have mentioned this before, and I haven't had a problem doing this.

 

In RemoveStartMenuTiles.xml located in the Packs folder, I also replaced notepad.lnk with foobar.lnk so I get a nice clean start menu at first boot instead of one containing notepad.

 

why foobar.lnk?

 

Because I don't have an app called foobar!
