@MSMG Please make a sample to let us know that how to use remove package list to remove components under "REMOVE" step。 Thank you for the awesome toolkit
What's the error you are getting, do provide any screenshot of the error. You need to extract DaRT pack files to <Packs\Dart\w10> folder and it should contain these files : Dart_w10.tpk Dart_w10_<Lang>.tpk DebugTools_w10_rs4.tpk
I have put up a Dialog message When the Remove packages using Package List to show Code: echo. When Adding Packages to the RemovePkgsList.txt, Only Add the Parent Package echo. names Excluding it's Language Packages or Sub-Packages. echo. echo. Do Truncate the Package names after the "-Package" String. echo. echo. E.g: Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package Do use this method if you want to remove any extra packages other than provided by ToolKit for removal. Will add a RemovePkgsList_Template.txt for a reference with some example.
Actually there's nothing wrong with the extraction, it's just the if condition which is checking whether the install.wim has been extracted or not and since the MCT created ISO's have a install.esd it is reporting that the extraction failed. I have fixed the issue in the next version and don't worry about that error, you can proceed with servicing the image.
Is anybody experiencing issues when running cleanup? I find that sometimes that some cleanup stages only reach 20%. Code: Image : Install.wim Image Index : 1 Image Architecture : x86 Image Version : 10.0.17134.1.1 Image Edition : Enterprise Image Default Language : en-GB Code: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Performing [WinRe.wim, Index : 1] Image Component Cleanup... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.17133.1 Image Version: 10.0.17134.1 [=========== 20.0% ] The operation completed successfully.
Been doing a little more testing. All seems well with the install, except for People (on the taskbar) is still present despite me choosing to remove it. Another problem I get with 1709 and also 1803, is I get a few messages popping about about file association errors. Usually HTML, etc. This is a quote from one I saw tonight: Code: Your default browser was reset An App caused a problem with your default browser setting, so it was reset to Microsoft Edge. Is there any way to fix this, or just keep dismissing the message?
Hello guys, which is the latest version of msmg toolkit? and does it remove windows defender? Cheers.
...MSMG the gui version is still far from being realized?..., nothing against with the cmd but it's just to know...thanks!
What should be known when using the toolkit on windows_10_april 2018 update? are they the usual things as RS3 ?
