A few questions: 1 - Should I Apply > DISM Image Cleanup ? What it does? 2 - Are DaRT and NetFX471 optional? Do I have to Integrate them?
I can't access "Advanced Windows Components" (4-3-2) removal menu; Pressing 1 ( All Windows Components) and 2 (Advanced Windows Components) in "Remove Windows Components" menu (4-3) does same thing - removes all windows components. Previous versions where working fine. Could anybody check if same thing happens to you too please. Thank You!
I don't like to spam but there are always at least 20+ users in this thread. Please, enlighten me guys.
The Edge pack is given only for Server editions, if you need the cab files for RS4 then you need to use the SxS Expander/Extractor tool to extract them from the source image.
Yes Biometric and other components removal will be added to use ToolKitHelper method, It will take some time for me to complete it. +1. Microphone not working. " Error in creating Sound stream". Need to check without removing WMP. But it worked properly with MGMG earlier build. @MSMG Is it possible to include Biometric component removal option like earlier build. Any option to remove Retail Demo Content. It takes nearly 160MB. Thanks.[/QUOTE]
Hello! great work I have a question: Do You Want to Mount Windows Setup Boot Image? What should I say? what is that for? Thanks a lot!!
1) Yes you need to use the Image Cleanup to reduce the Image size. 2) DaRT is optional and NetFX471 may be needed as it is required to run .net application written targeting NetFX471.

It does seem to be WMP removal that causes the microphone not to work. I made a new image and removed all of the same components that I had removed before while leaving WMP and the Microphone Setup Wizard works (in a VM) where it complained about a missing service before. I'll test with a real install and report back.
No, the main problem of 8.5 is the Metro Skin implementation not working and WMC removal not working (here is working).
Is the battery slider problem fixed?(it disappeared in images with all metro apps and windows components removed). Well, it's not a big deal but just asking. No pressure
I'm typing from a clean and real(not on vm, idk if it affects anythig though) installation. I used NTLite to remove apps (and xbox).* Then I used this tool to > remove all compenents > remove adv components (hyper-v, explorerUI, defender, peoplesomethingIdontremember, smartscreen, telemetry and some others...) > Disabled Cortana (Not removed.) > Integrated dx9c and netfx35 * I did an installation yesterday without using ntlite. xbox button stayed in settings app so msmg didn't remove all xbox components. I don't know if I did good or bad though. I'm just sharing my experience.
