I'm having problems with CU's with all the versions of the toolkit since 7.0, with RS3 and RS4 images (spanish ones, tested always with Education and Enterprise editions), integrating the CU's before and/or after component removal, removing or not Telemetry and etc. After installation, CU's are not offered through Windows Update, and if offered, they fail to install.
Well, so far I haven't got such issues, I always do my tests with pro image, may be I should tryout a Education/Enterprise image to see if any errors are occured, will test when I do get time. Right now I did few more tests with the W10 Pro RS4 x64 Image and will be posting the result next to this post, checkout the CU is installing through WU.
For RS3 I had tested with NTLite, but for RS1 (LTSB) I had tested with its toolkit in an old version that still used the dism method. In RS1 I had no problems. But this setting only affects Enterprise/Education editions anyway. However in RS4 Enterprise/Education will probably have the same behavior as in RS3 (configuring telemetry as Security causes Windows Update to not find updates). That was my reasoning.
I have en-gb (British English) Enterprise as ISO images for both 32 and 64-bit if you would like me to upload them somewhere, just tell me where. If a few minutes of my time helps you save some of your time to do other things, I am all for helping you out.
Found out that it was the removal of one of the newly added WMP sub-package which caused the error but this happens only with the latest CU. Just working on that to identity the correct sub-package.
