I have read the readme.txt file and realised that perhaps my above method was not correct. I intend to use the below method. Can somebody please check and confirm it is okay? Spoiler Integrate Win32 calculator (3 > 3 > B) Cleanup (6 > 1) Remove all metro apps (4 > 1 > 1) Remove Onedrive, People, Connect, Skype, Store, Xbox, Game bar, Xbox ID (K/M/N/S/U/X/Y/Z) Apply updates (3 > 4 > 2 > 1 > 3) Cleanup (6 > 1) Windows Photo Viewer (5 > 5 > 6) Apply changes to image (6 > 2) Rebuild (6 > 1) Convert WIM to ESD (2 > 4) i am unsure about rebuilding. I never did this with my previous images.
A similar problem also happens for the 64-bit image - you must choose option 9 to remove all products. I have just discovered this issue when testing 64-bit for the first time. In version 8.8 and older, I usually deleted all of the online Metro application and the rest by hand. Not enough of the item(((
Just to make sure, is this version only working with en-GB images? Or does that refer to the "manual removal method"? Cheers.
1) Since the ToolKitHelper has been coded based on the source image without updates pre-integrated, I changed the order in the readme.txt for RS5, - Integrate the Language Packs - Integrate the Drivers - Integrate the Features excluding the .NetFX35 - Perform Image Cleanup - Remove Components - Integrate Updates - Perform Image Cleanup - Integrate .NetF35 and CU - Integrate Custom Features - Apply Customizations - Save Image - Rebuild Image - Install - Perform Image Cleanup If You want you can skip the integration of updates and leave it to WU to do the job. 2) Some features like Integration of win32calc, apps, games have not been updated yet and so I have put a message, will update them soon. 3) Removal of Associations has been moved to Customize Menu from previous version of ToolKit. 4) Connect App is the PPIProjection 32 bit Menu [N] PPIProjection - Connect App 64 bit Menu [M] PPIProjection - Connect App
Cortana removal is not included for x64 image due to SFC /scannow error, but for x86 image it's available as there are SFC errors with it. Will add the Cortana removal when I do fix it.
While Merging the Apps + Components menu I had removed some options, will add them back in the next version.
