I had removed the metro apps associations before, but it gave me lots of errors, the Os booted fine, but every minutes i had errors messages telling me the XXX associations are bad ... MSMG 4 - 2 options I dont touch them anymore IE: don't remove them
For such a problem with ShellExperienceHost.exe leads Symantec Endpoint Protection, when was integrated DirectX. It is checked several times. Start, battery, clock, calendar etc. not working
the MSMG 6.2 for me crash more than the 6.1 version when selecting the dvd source folder, it usually take 2 - 4 times before it find the dvd\source contents files like boot.wim and install.wim ??? running this on the 14393.351 Entreprise 64 bit
I know this is a bit offtopic, but can anyone tell me why Xinso has been banned? This may be an error, his collaboration on this board and especially with MSMG toolkit has been enormously helpful. What is it that he has done to deserve a ban? I hope this is in someway temporarily. Cheers.
I haven't checked with it, I just use the latest available updates and integrate them based on the update type.
Removing Metro Apps Associations will remove the whole association settings completely and yes you need to set the file association manually or you can use the import Custom App Association XML with your settings.
Well, I'm not facing any issues here, even I did test with the latest leaked Windows 10 RS2 Build too. Check with v6.3 which I will be releasing right now and see if it works properly.

Just wondering if it is possible to add drivers from DriverPack Solution (download.drp.su/driverpacks) using the default driver integration of MSMG Toolkit?
yesss another toy to play with i'll report back, time to make some changes on 14997.... EDIT : would be nice to always stay in the relevant section, instead of clicking each time ... EX: Remove "4" / Remove default metro app "1" / choices A B C ... or it is programmed this way ??? to avoid miss clicks ? hacked the windows size to 120 x 50 and made some esthetics changes ... on my 32" monitor this msmg windows is small
Hello MSMG, Do i need WIM Image CleanUp & Component ResetBase step after Apply & Re-Build the Image? It's 8 =>1 =>9 in toolkit's menu Thank you,
Sorry for the stupid question guys but i have to ask. So...there are two options to integrate the UPDATES: 1.integrate windows updates 2.integrate WHD updates.Which one i have to choose? Also same goes for the drivers: [1] Integrate to Windows Setup Boot & Recovery Image and [2] Integrate to Windows Setup Install Image.Reason i'm asking is because the onliest time i managed to install ready ISO(using vmware to test it first) was without integrating any updates or drivers otherwise it wont even install it,it says that there are missing files.I'm using 14393.ANY HELP OR ADVISE will be appreciate it.Thank you !!!!!!
Hi dani29m! You'll find all answers in the usage guide inside MSMG Toolkit archive or downloadable at the 1rst page of this topic.
Thanks Kenafri....i read that thing 5 times already...there was no mentioning about how to integrate updates or drivers. Thanks anyway !!!
As far as the Drivers Folders contains the .inf for the respective Driver, The ToolKit will pickup the Drivers. If you need to use Driver Packs then you need to extract the Driver Packs Files to the Corresponding Drivers Folder and use the ToolKit.
