@MSMG I did some minor custom things like add microsoft edge, added win32 calc, and then did install windows media updates and this might be the culprit to sfc scannerror did the same component removal and tweaks (5>5>1,2,3,4,5) without adding microsoft edge, win32 calc, or install windows media updates and sfc scan clean
Have you tried microsoft edge canary? Its way better then regular edge and its based on google chrome but with benefits of edge. It plays neflix in 1080p. Another thing is that MSMG said adding calc to ltsc will cause an sfc error and I experienced that too
This is what i use and never have a problem its canary. What your showing I don't think is canary Microsoft Edge is up to date Version 76.0.144.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
downloaded the dev channel thinking it was canary lol I downloaded the correct one , About Microsoft Edge Microsoft Edge is up to date Version 76.0.144.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) still not working for me.
Could be adding edge or the media updates thatt caused the problem. It might not work with any browser in your case
i think you answered that a few posts ago xD it might just be adding edge/win32 and or media updates. either way, I ignored them in the toolkit. However, microsoft edge canary isnt working for me on my existing OS (1607). We are sharing the same build as well. Version 76.0.144.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) EDIT: Restarting PC worked. I wonder if the dev release would've worked too.
Is your source image LTSC? if yes then integrating Win32Calc pack will give sfc error since this Edition already contains Win32Calc and the Win32Calc Pack files are of v1607 and so the SFC scans and gives error. No other packs will give any sfc errors.
The Win32Calc packages post v1609 is broken in terms of functionality (Unit conversion and other functions).
Quick question, can I enable .NET 3.5 from "turn windows features on/off" panel? Will it be the same as downloading .NET or using the one in the .ISO? Thanks
It seems to if you use a non refreshed image (17763 1) and update after its installed. I haven't had any problems when removing everything except IE
