Yes, since I have added the v1903 as a supported build in the build validation check, it allows to remove the components but currently only Windows Apps have been coded fully to support v1903, other components needs changes to support v1903.

So you are telling me to change from method 1 to method 2?
    Extract ISO (1 > 3)

Select source (1 > 1) (also mount boot and recovery images)

    Integrate Win32 calculator (3 > 3 > B)

    Apply updates (3 > 4 > 2 > 1 > 3)

    Cleanup (6 > 1)

    Remove all metro apps (4 > 1 > 1 > 8)

    Remove Onedrive, People, Connect, Skype (4 > 1 > 2 > H/J/K/P)

    Remove Store, Xbox, Game bar, Xbox ID (4 > 1 > 3 > 1/5/6/7)

    Cleanup (6 > 1)

Tweaks for Task View, App Downloads, Photo Viewer (5 > 5 > 2/4/7)

    Apply changes to image (6 > 2)

    Rebuild (6 > 1)

    Convert WIM to ESD (2 > 4)

    Make ISO (7 > 1)
    Extract ISO (1 > 3)

Select source (1 > 1) (also mount boot and recovery images)

    Integrate Win32 calculator (3 > 3 > B)

Windows update updated some of my drivers, cu etc and my printer. Just like in any other successful tests I've done

Can the toolkit or if anyone knows if its possible to pre-integrate custom apps to our choosing, similar to how NLite works but we just add our own to install. Always curious because I do clean installs every year and its a hassle reinstalling my most used apps.

@MSMG - can you please confirm that this method is okay to use and I am doing cleanup at the correct place?

Method 2 seems appropriate except for the cleanup order. It is only necessary after the integration/installation of updates to remove/compress old files that have been replaced by the updated ones. It may be recommended to do the cleanup after removing components for some other reason I do not know for sure but it would be a test anyway to know if the cleanup will work properly after removing components.

So I would change the order to this:

    Extract ISO (1 > 3)

Select source (1 > 1) (also mount boot and recovery images)

    Integrate Win32 calculator (3 > 3 > B)

    Remove all metro apps (4 > 1 > 1 > 8)

    Remove Onedrive, People, Connect, Skype (4 > 1 > 2 > H/J/K/P)

    Remove Store, Xbox, Game bar, Xbox ID (4 > 1 > 3 > 1/5/6/7)

    Apply updates (3 > 4 > 2 > 1 > 3)

    Cleanup (6 > 1)

Tweaks for Task View, App Downloads, Photo Viewer (5 > 5 > 2/4/7)

    Apply changes to image (6 > 2)

    Rebuild (6 > 1)

    Convert WIM to ESD (2 > 4)

    Make ISO (7 > 1)

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Thank you, I have tried your method and I am able to confirm that SFC does not produce any errors.

Since I do test with a plain image without updates, I had to use the cleanup image twice once before and once after the component removal otherwise the cleanup image would give error.

But if you integrate updates then you can use the cleanup image only once before applying the image.

    Remove all metro apps (4 > 1 > 1 > 8)

BioEnrollment package for what integration or removal, for both there are no package name available with recent W10 builds.

  19. @MSMG

I'm using LTSC v17763.1 en-us x64 and I removed all apps and all components with Toolkit v9.2. Everything looks good except Windows troubleshooting wizard does not work. I've tested it out on 3 computers and got the same errors. When I click troubleshoot on anything it says error. Can you check this out please?

Retain WindowsErrorReporting and test the OS.
