should the updates get integrated using some order like date release or just randomly ? and are the CU's enough or one should integrate all updates ?? what are SSU's ?? will WHDownloader get the same updates as uupdump.ml ?? what's the best source ? thank you
SSU= Servicing stack update. You DO need this update. There are also the .Net framework updates. Just use WHDownloader and put the updates in their corresponding folders. Cheers.
Checked with CBS.log and didn't find any errors referenced to the removed components. Check with the below command to see if SFC restoring any removed components in command prompt. type CBS.log | find /i "corrupt"
@MSMG, in tweaks menu is Disable Cortana app necessary, when you remove Cortana? Or during removal is it done anyway?
Hello I have problem After using toolkit i cant install win 10 on my m.2 ssd drive windows installation does not see the disk i have tried original windows 10 / created with media tool and everything is fine what can cause the problem ? i have reduced windows 10 only to w 10 pro and got rid of bloatware i have driver for my ssd drive but it is an exe file can i integrate that into installation somehow ? My ssd is samasung 970 pro Also i noticed that during removal of several component an /error/ window poped out. using toolkit 9.2
What Windows 10 build are you using? It's important, because ToolKit is not supporting non-refreshed images. If you are having some errors during components removal, probably it's because of it. @nldenic, why you don't read previous posts? Beside this, you have your answear in the error message - "ToolKitHelper currently only support non-refreshed images". You are using 17763.379 build, you need 17763.1.
Importing tweaks to the image requires the registry files to be modified to suit the image registry mount points. - Modify the registry file to match the registry mount point. - Select the Image using the Toolkit. - Go to Tools->Options - Choose Load Image Registry - Now import the registry file to the registry - Go to Tools->Options - Now Choose Unload Image Registry - Save the Image

@MSMG, is still recommended to use ToolKit 8.8 with 1803 image? I'm asking, because today I used 9.3.1 with 1803 trying to integrate cumulative update and when ToolKit tried to intagrate to the WinRE (I have chosen integration to all images) I had an error - "DISM failed".
@MSMG - Sir I have this image - en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso. Please let me know the best version of msmg to customize this image without any sfc errors. Thank you.
UUP only offers SSU/CU and sometimes a dynamic CBS update. WHD (and the overviews by the members) offers SSU/CU/Flash/DotnetCU The correct order can be seen in every W10UI log i post. With dotnetfx3 enabled: Code: SSU Dotnet CU + Dotnet Rollup (if needed, recently changed) Flash CU Cleanup Image (with or without full resetbase) Enable dotnetfx3 Re-integrate DotnetCU's and normal CU Update winre.wim resetbase winre.wim update boot.wim, both indexes resetbase boot.wim Copies over the serviced setup.exe from boot.wim index2 to iso\sources Creates ISO
@MSMG , what is different between Integrate WHD General Updates and Integrate Windows Setup Media Updates..?? Thanks in advance..!!
Are the SSU/CU/Flash/Dotnet(CU) updates (for dism integration) Are the dynamic updates for updating "ISO:\Sources" (not dism but just extract cab, and put the content in the Sources folder on the ISO).
