Hi MSMG I want to remove all advanced windows components except Windows Photo Viewer , but i don't want to choose them one by one for removing Is there any practical way of doing this ? Thanks
for 1809 how will i use Remove Package List method ? I have never tried to do that by now will i have to change any lines in toolkit.cmd ?
Please read back few pages where I have posted the new version, I have specified how to use the Lists. Check for these files RemovePkgsList.txt and RemovePkgsList_Template.txt under Packs folder. Open RemovePkgsList_Template.txt and see for ToolKit_ lines and copy them to RemovePkgsList.txt and save it. Use the Remove Windows components using Package List Menu.
now i have a iso file with version 10.0.18362.1 i want to get the latest iso with build .116 what are exactly the updates needed to be integrated to get this result ? plz
I can not find LTSC - 17763.1- I have only 17763.107 - will this work with the removal of the app and components? I'm sorry I do not know eng. - google tolk.

I downloaded 1903 iso from microsoft but can't delete windows components. It says "MSMG ToolKit Commandline Helper Version: 1.0.1728.0 Image Version: 10.0.18362.30 Error: Unsupported Windows OS Image Service Pack Build ToolKitHelper currently only support non-refreshed images." Sorry for bad english.
I saw that post but it's not clear, does that means that each cumulative update overwrite the previous one, and contain everything in previous cu's ? so I need only the latest cu each time ? even if I don't get some previous cu's ? is that correct ??
The way I work with the Toolkit is to use the base image, ie 18362.1.190318-1202.19H1_RELEASE_CLIENTENTERPRISE_VOL_X86FRE_EN-GB.ISO then download and integrate the latest SSU and CU at the time I am working with the image. If you try and use the Toolkit with an image that has already been updated with the latest SSU and CU, you will probably find that MSMG will not work properly as it only works with xxxxx.1 images.
In short, yes, you only need the most current updates. When you are integrating updates on a (fresh) iso, you always only need the latest ones, the CU = Cumulative, this means that every new CU includes all previously included fixes. Thereby it supersedes and replaces all previous CU's. The SSU is not superseded by the new one but when integrating updates in a clean windows iso, you only need the most current one. Same goes for flash updates and the dotnetcu/rollups (latest maybe with one or two exceptions on older versions, pre 1903).
