I don't think so you can disable/remove the nag, it's due to en-IN it asks for the additional packages, if you use just en-us/en-gb it won't ask it. Haven't found an option so far to disable the Optional features.
Yes MS want's their OS not to be tampered. It's weird to see adding support for 18362.30 to remove apps and using WU, the WU installs around 4-5 CU's.
@MSMG - Is this a permanent solution for the optional feature installation nag ? Have you tried this before ? schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\LanguageComponentsInstaller\Installation" /Disable
No haven't tried this tweak before and it's not good idea to disable it since as I have seen if you don't install those en-IN packages then in Edge the spell checker won't work.
That doesnt matter as i dont use edge at all. Apart from this is there any other thing which is affected ?.
Is it true? I've yet to install 1903 and afterwards a CU via WU after removing the components with NTLite.
Unfortunately yes MS sucks. We need to wait @MSMG to come up with something. NTLite developer is working on that too. Meantime, we need to use 1809 image.
The way now is to use tweaks and group policies. However removing components always causes problems if you plan to use Windows Update. If it does not cause now it will surely cause in the future. The 100% safe components to remove are those that will not be updated by Windows Update but until some fonts are updated then this greatly restricts the possibilities.
Which iso of enterprise ltsc 2019 that is supported by ToolKit_v9.3.1? for full component removal and windows update integration? is the supported version is only 17763.1 correct?
All of these are 17763.1: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-128#post-1468413
