It's better to not load CSM, pure UEFI is faster.

I know this has been pointed out a few times, but I'm not seeing it. Which is good

I've checked my system after a fresh install with 17763.1, then compared it with the same system after a number of CUs. Don't seem to be getting empty folders created.

I remove almost everything. Maybe I'm just lucky

If MSMG ToolKit's DISM Image Cleanup with Full ResetBase setting is enabled may someone have problems installing updates (whether he integrated updates [and on this case have trouble installing future ones] or not)? And what about other problems caused by this?

 

You can get into problems when a system files cleanup disk has ran and windows update cleanup is performed by it on 1903, you CAN get problems installing future updates, mainly when installing IP updates, same goes for when /startcomponencleanup is used (/resetbase will have the same result, with or without disable resetbase regkey is modified).

The problem is AFAIK there's an auto disk cleanup task but what if the WU cleanup isn't selected (the same thing goes for manual disk cleanup tasks)? And what if I manually delete WU files without using the disk cleanup tool? For how long this problem keeps up? I hope they fix it ASAP. By not selecting the WU cleaning on a manual disk cleanup task would that affect the auto disk cleanup task and it (WU cleaning) wouldn't also be performed?

 

Bug report :

I get errors setting paths and variables if there is a space in the folder where msmg resides. If i put it in root with no spaces, then all is fine.

also, a heads up for other folks... This tool does not work with windows LTSC.

So for those who want to clen windows ltsc (people, one drive, etc).. use blackbird privacy or other tools.
