The WSL works by downloading the required subsystem from internet and running few Linux commands to configure it. The subsystem can also be downloaded directly and it's packaged as appx file and we need some kind of tool to install it. Will explore the possibility of making a offline pack for WSL. Yes the removals will be supported in future versions too, just working out methods to fix the components returning and also the possibility of working with images with updates integrated. To make a pack for WSL, we may need to capture before and after state of system and get the difference.

HKEY_USERS\Custom\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced should be HKEY_USERS\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
You need to use v9.4.x to integrate for all OS and v8.8 to remove for W81/W10 TH1-RS4. Did you integrated .NET FX35?, If not then some updates have set the flag. No issue the wim size will be bit bigger, you can do the cleanup online.
Hmm I am with the weapons in hand to make great discoveries using the W 8.1 as experience and then apply in the newer versions of course obeying and following the changes of M $ FT There is no other way so I get Windows 8.1 as main system up to 2023 Maybe the Windows team 8.1 were very inspired to improve the software which for me is the second "XP" guarding the proportions of course in summary I love the M $ FT Windows 8.1 Thanks a lot master MSMG more one time...

Hmm as always Diskpart\list disk\select Disk\clean \convert gpt and more a lot of things before you start using the "new" system let's go it now...In time hopefully it will work as expected haha this reminds me something you do not find lol
When you are clean installing and there is just one disk connected, you can simply delete all partitions and repartition, it will repartition using MBR when a Legacy BIOS boot is performed and using GPT partitioning when a UEFI boot was performed. When there are more disks connected, then they need to be disconnected, else the repartitioning of the system disk won't work. Then it's easier to run diskpart and convert to either one.
of course dude Of course friend because even though my motherboard has two Bios it also does not do miracles so the user has to have at least "sense" correct...
yep I agree but I know lol Well this way I need to turn off the machine and disconnect the SSD from the other HDD's hehe and in sequence I will test the other modified version of W 8.1 (my beloved) and make a comparison of overall efficiency not just for games since I have a humble RX460 for now...wait bro
I know this has been pointed out a few times, but I'm not seeing it. Which is good I've checked my system after a fresh install with 17763.1, then compared it with the same system after a number of CUs. Don't seem to be getting empty folders created. I remove almost everything. Maybe I'm just lucky
