serious tigs, i cant be bothered and i have enjoyed not having that machine on fora few weeks, that could carry on to weeks 3 and 4

 

After a lot of testing the theme I liked the most in 8.1 was the Windows 8 Release Preview Theme (RP Theme) and it was designed to be used with the aero effect so I use AeroGlass. And RP theme has some bugs in 8.1 but AeroGlass comes with a very similar theme and these bugs fixed. Over time you get used to the UI although I prefer a classic start menu.

 

Hmm well I have not yet had time to install my newest theme that I downloaded on Devianart and it is Abisso and reminds me a lot of the W10 LTSC after I install should I post, as well as suggestion give a search on Google and look for: Abisso theme still I follow you in this time NO remove Store using Toolkit v 8.8...

 

I removed with NTLite may be that with MSMG Toolkit you can remove without problems because for 8.1 is still used DISM and the method of removing packages.

2 Things I would like to see in Toolkit:

- Support for older versions of Windows (7 and 8.1) with the manual removing method.
- The option to remove Windows Update and the extra files that are kept in WinSxS for Windows Update compatibility. This greatly reduces the image size.

 

7 pro has something approaching 1gb of drivers, removing 3rd party drivers alone gives a good saving without touching os components. ripping out winsxs and hard links will save a fair bit. Nuhi gives you more options and i prefer his way.
I may have to test that igpu driver on 8.1 but ive got a big list and need tocatch up on a lot
