Dear MSMG, I download SHA-1.txt from Mega today & found following mismatch, I also downloaded mismatched files from Mega for reconfirmation, but mismatch remains 1) Actually 212d7b47415cac7f0ec117808d4ee403c2fb0000,Packs\Apps\GettingApps.txt instead of, 18695120bf37da26b7d5677575b0d2c5d48a5705,Packs\Apps\GettingApps.txt, in SHA-1.txt 2) Actually, b0614a0489e3ba02b1ff1db06f40179a4f63455f,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.cab instead of, 7d7b5ee9c0daa63dd22f95d669bd2b443d5c56a9,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.cab, in SHA-1.txt 3) Actually, 4c7de8bc4b28cd9f0a18425c63dabd81ced1a432,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab instead of, dfbdbe5e41b675e1c1f5dd41a287bc78b9fed84e,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab, in SHA-1.txt 4) Actually, 35f8226e86aa0958da6e0a87cfd702fc2e618536,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.18362.1.cab instead of, d1ce7a61e8445d4abd39f254bd1b35a1610d9657,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~10.0.18362.1.cab in SHA-1.txt 5) Actually, 375340e79dac52f4a50750fc11d469870c4420cc,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab instead of, 9fa7b56da99baebf5a44214df7dddf9504cb271d,Packs\EdgeBrowser\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Internet-Browser-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab in SHA-1.txt 6) Actually, 161bc0117fb1243109f74369fa2d6c6954283605,Packs\WSL\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Lxss-Optional-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.cab c0a781398ad1c25801f8b7e3bdda3d1704b2ffdd,Packs\WSL\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Lxss-Optional-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab instead of acdf3ec58c50321f49b36b91d56a86cb4fbd5c40,Packs\WSL\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Lxss-Optional-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.18362.1.cab cffd015273590fb22c51b1414897b1e6a1233231,Packs\WSL\10.0.18362\Microsoft-Windows-Lxss-Optional-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.18362.1.cab 7) As already noted by you, adb5ac19d0be21ec2cb0f08776fe65ef86f97651,Packs\Apps\w81\Microsoft.HelpAndTips_2014.1204.1.4543_neutral___8wekyb3d8bbwe.AppxBundle is present in SHA-1.txt but not found in folder. 8) Also note that in Packs\LanguagePacks\w10\10.0.17763\x64\en-US\ folder the filename of Server-Language-Pack should not have '-' between Language & Pack words. 9) In Packs\NetFX35\w81\ folder, we have .7z files but in SHA-1.txt it still shows .zip files, so again SHA-1 are mismatched. Please correct.
What has this to do with "paid for?" I asked for a status update, if someone says "GUI is coming" I at least expect a status update if I'm sick or plans/priority changes... I think it's a legitimate question which deserves an honest answer. Don't make from a harmless question more out of it then it is and do not interpret something more into it.
Sometimes people just interpreting s**t into it ... Instead that the developer addresses it, we not talk about something which takes 2 second to answer "yes, it's coming or planned for xyz" "no, no interest or I'm busy with other things". It's really simple.
maybe the way you asked question. GUI?! Promised 3~4 years ago .. still nothing... sound a bit like demanding. or someone entitled to.
Glad to see you are in better condition @MSMG Today I applied your wonderful 9.5 kit over 18363.418 es-ES .iso and removed almost everything except Paint and Photo Viewer. Sadly I got some sfc errors here and there after clean installed the OS. The removal seems to have gone fine and the OS seems stable, though. Don't know what to do now, since I did the same process over 17763.1 and the log got clean (not one single error). Do you think this is everything I f**ked up during the process? Thanks beforehand.
The underlined parts are probably projecting a very poor attitude of somebody who has senses of entitlement. Perhaps most of the above is not applicable to you. This is a forum topic dedicated to free software, developed by somebody in their free time. We should all be grateful to @MSMG for that alone - and I have personally thanked them in several of my posts. I think some of the more recent comments in this thread show what is wrong with the world today. A small minority of people expect and demand things for free, because they perhaps feel somehow entitled to it. Sorry, but unless you have paid for this software and/or the time of @MSMG then you should not be expecting a single thing. You should gratefully receive what you have been given - for free. If you don't like it, find and use alternative software, or develop your own.
The GUI development is not dead, it was put under hibernation state due to lack of good health and resources. Will be soon resuming the development and will fast track the process.
For every update the Component removal needs to be update for v1903/v1909, I have checked with the latest update only a minor change was needed and have updated the code. Will release a newer version of ToolKitHelper.exe if possible today, do check out.
When I try to remove components using the Remove Windows Components Using Package List setting MSMG ToolKit states: "Error: Unsupported Windows OS Image ToolKitHelper only support Windows 10 v1809, v1903 & v1909". This happens with every component I try to remove using this setting and I'm using a 18362.1 image. When I try to remove single components it states: "ToolKit component removal only work with the below Source OS Images... Windows 10 v1909 (10.0.18363.418) Source OS.". Why is this?
This has been already mentioned when component removal support for v1909 was added by replacing v1903. The Toolkit's manual component removal only support 10.0.17763.1 and 10.0.18363.418
Ok, but why? So, since I want to integrate the latest updates I should do it over that (18363.418) image? I guess the image will grow bigger on size (when comparing with doing the same process with 18362/3.1 images) so I thought we should integrate updates on 18362/3.1 images.
Since I had to maintain the code for 10.0.18362.1, 10.0.18362.30, 10.0.18363.418 and so I retained only 10.0.18363.418. The Toolkit support 10.0.18363.418 and also any CU above the .418, but may require a new version if there is any major changes done to the removed components.
But integrating the latest updates over a 18363.418 image will make it bigger on size when comparing with doing the same process with 18362/3.1 images?
Stop talking like a righteous fruitcake over and over again. What are you? Forum police? He's right to ask because fact is, its been years long and not weeks long. MSMG can answer it for himself and say what you say like "how much do you pay?" if he wants to. I know he wont. I've done plenty of false promises before and kept quiet about things. Nothing to be proud of. I've at times feel de-spirited for many reasons to not complete what I started off with. Nothing to be proud of. Nothing to be ashamed of either. But it happens. People can and will ask. Also I've seen CHEF KOCH's work, he's a veteran.
