Hello dear forum users! How can I remove FilePicker - File browser, the purpose of which is to open files by applications from the Store. I will be very grateful who will answer.
hi you do not need to do this is a unnecessary thing because this application is native to LTSC just look inside System32 and you will see what I'm saying ok.
In v1903/v1909, the Xbox components are like Xbox - XboxApp Xbox Game Bar - XboxGameOverlay and XboxGamingOverlay Xbox Game Speech Window - XboxSpeechToTextOverlay Xbox TCUI - Xbox.TCUI Xbox Identity Provider - XboxIdentityProvider Xbox Game UI - XboxGameCallableUI The Xbox App is required as a dependency for all other Xbox related components. XboxGameCallableUI is required for Solitaire Collections App Wish you and everyone here a very Happy New Year.
You need to use the Toolkit's Remove->Remove Windows Components->System Apps->XboxApp Menu to remove Xbox Apps. For v1809 the support build is 17763.1 and for v1909 the support build is 18363.418 or above
The Toolkit has added only the component that are safe to removal for proper functioning of the OS. File Picker may be required by Setting Apps->Accounts->Create your Picture
MayBe late but for me current @ LTSC 2o19 in past " Years" with MSMG Toolkit i tricker this Isues to Windows Updates mostly by NetFX things . . . so " windows10.0-kb4533001-x64-ndp48" was pulled in Time . . . also i have latest CU " Windows10.0-KB4530715-x64" and nothing is goin right
am thinking of reinstalling windows 10 again. any progress @ msmg .? any new build soon.? just asking to decide to reinstall again or wait.
Excellent toolkit, much appreciated. I do have a question, I removed a lot of components but left some apps like MixedRealityPortal, MixedReality, and WindowsStore. However I cannot get the Mixed Reality to work since the app crashes with a 15-5 error after setting up. Event viewer shows "HoloShellApp.exe" crashing every couple of seconds. I must be missing some dependencies. Any clues? Thank you.
@MSMG Hello, I did exactly what you told me about adding custom FONTS. When I did a FRESH install of Windows 10, the fonts were NOT installed, nor were they copied to the Windows/Fonts directory. I then checked the registry, all the custom FONTS were there. Then I used DISM++ to see if the custom FONTS were in the install.wim file, and they were there. Lastly, I used the Multi-OEM/Retail Project {MRP} - Mk3 by @mxman2k . Do you think that might be the issue of the custom Fonts not being installed / copied to the fresh install of Windows 10? I would appreciate any and all assistance concerning this matter. Thank you...
Currently I'm testing the ToolkitHelper.exe with each edition and fixing any errors found, so far have fixed few issues with Core/CoreSingle and N Editions. Still need to add the new fixes to the MUI code and then start updating the Toolkit script. If your source image language is en-US then will do upload the new version of ToolkitHelper.exe
Usually I don't use the custom fonts or themes with the image, need to test and can say what's the issue. Sorry I haven't used the Multi-OEM/Retail Project to see how it woks.
MSMG, No normal. If through the local group policy editor, the check box is cleared. p.s setupcomplete.cmd
