Hi there, I removed a lot of stuff and after a fresh install and installing paint.net I get the message that Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) is not available. Does anyone have clue which package might be related to this?
Hi, Can someone tell me exactly how integrating registry files works please? I have tried the following but no entries are added when I check the image via VirtualBox. 1. Registry files contain the mapping indicated when loading the registry through option 8->3->4 ie: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SOFTWARE] -> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SOFTWARE\Classes] -> [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SYSTEM] -> [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_NTUSER] -> [HKEY_CURRENT_USER] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_DEFAULT] -> [HKEY_USERS\.Default] 2. When I use option 5->7 I don't see any error messages, just that the registry files have been processed. ie: Importing [Deploy HKCU.reg] to Image Registry... The operation completed successfully. To install Windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation." I'm very close to producing the Windows 10 image I want, but registry entry customisation seems to be the only thing I can't get working. Can anyone give me any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Hello guys! I'm new to MSMG tool. I read and watched some tutorials on how to use it. From what I learnt I need to use the ToolKit_v9.5.7z and run the Toolkit.cmd (or Start.cmd) found there. In the downloading MEGA folder of the official website I found there a file named ToolKitHelper.exe. Do I need this file too, and what is this exe file used for? Thank you!
For 8->3->4 the registry hive needs to be mapped properly in the registry file HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SOFTWARE HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SOFTWARE\Classes HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SYSTEM HKEY_CURRENT_USER should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_NTUSER HKEY_USERS\.Default should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_DEFAULT Already the script runs under NSudo so protected keys are modified or imported properly.
Thanks @Tiger-1. I know I can restart explorer. Well sort of; I run Shellfolderfix which fixes issues with Windows not remembering windows sizes and positions, but that wont run after explorer has been restarted, so a reboot is required anyway. What I'd really like is to figure out which service is causing the problem. I was just being lazy hoping someone already knew which services were dependent.

Has anyone encountered the icons disappearing in Edge? what I mean is the icons at the top of the Edge browser window for Favorites, Settings, Profile etc are just little rectangles. I am using the RemoveAppsList_W10_10.0.18362_template with only MS Paint removed since I want to keep that. Other than whats included in the template nothing else is being removed.
That was it, I the line "ToolKitHelper:WindowsPhotoViewer" from the package list and now everything is fine

Try to shorten the path, as right now you are working from a folder on your desktop. I always create a folder directly in C:\ to ensure a short path. So the path I work with is C:\MSMG-ToolKit_v9.5.
HI, new here. Want to know if you remove components in win10 1909 making the iso. Then install the OS drivers and etc. If I will install a update via MS catalog like a manual update to the OS. Will the removed components come back? Thanks @MSMG
Under 8>1>C Delete Wim Index Could you please add the option to delete all but selected version so if i only want pro it will remove all the others. Also its missing the X to go back option once your in the menu, so only forward is to delete an index sucks if you're in there accidentally or wanted to see the options
