Try to shorten the path, as right now you are working from a folder on your desktop. I always create a folder directly in C:\ to ensure a short path. So the path I work with is C:\MSMG-ToolKit_v9.5.
HI, new here. Want to know if you remove components in win10 1909 making the iso. Then install the OS drivers and etc. If I will install a update via MS catalog like a manual update to the OS. Will the removed components come back? Thanks @MSMG
Under 8>1>C Delete Wim Index Could you please add the option to delete all but selected version so if i only want pro it will remove all the others. Also its missing the X to go back option once your in the menu, so only forward is to delete an index sucks if you're in there accidentally or wanted to see the options
After cumulative updates returns: Microsoft Edge, Security Center, Cortana, Windows Defender, Windows Store, SmartScreen and maybe more. Use registry tweeks to suspend them.
Can you post the tweeks, or a link to them? If it is allowed to post things like that in this thread. Thanks
I had a similar error like @MstsM when I tried MSMG for the first time. I also worked from a folder on my desktop. The problem was in my folder's name, it consisted of 2 words with a space between them ("project win10"). After I renamed it to "project_win10" the problem was solved.
Hi MSMG, I tried to reduce Windows 10 with your big program, but unfortunately it gives me error on starting WinPE. I used "it_windows_10_business_editions_version_1909_updated_dec_2019_x64_dvd_2e01225c.iso" in the Pro version. I think it's because you deleted SystemRestore, but why you want to enter in advanced options ? For me the safe mode works even if I have errors at startup.
I am experiencing an issue not related to MSMG't Toolit, but perhaps as a result of using it. I removed Microsoft Store from my Windows installation and the new Nvidia drivers now require that the Nvidia Control Panel be installed from the Microsoft Store - obviously I cannot do this. I have downloaded NVIDIACorp.NVIDIAControlPanel_8.1.956.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj.Appx and NVIDIACorp.NVIDIAControlPanel_8.1.956.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj.BlockMap with AdGuard, but nothing happens when I double click them. How do I install them?
there is also the option via command prompt as Admin: bcdedit /set bootmenupolicy legacy I find more productive when necessary to access safe mode just press the F8 key as Windows 7
@Feartamixg @MSMG I read somewhere else that Microsoft started to force the 3rd party companies to use their Windows Store to be able to install some of their components!? Does it mean, for now, it is not a good idea to remove the Windows Store and the Desktop App Installer? Is maybe there any other Windows or System app that is better to not remove it to avoid similar issues? Thanks
I have also read this. If this is the case, then I shall not remove Desktop App Installer in the future, however this means I have to expand the ToolKitHelper:WindowsApps list from RemovePkgsList.txt and remove Desktop App Installer from the list. Is there some way to remove ToolKitHelper:WindowsApps then put Desktop App Installer back when it is done?
