Hi MSMG, I tried to reduce Windows 10 with your big program, but unfortunately it gives me error on starting WinPE. I used "it_windows_10_business_editions_version_1909_updated_dec_2019_x64_dvd_2e01225c.iso" in the Pro version. This is the list of removals: ToolKitHelper:AdobeFlashForWindows ToolKitHelper:FirstLogonAnimation ToolKitHelper:GameExplorer ToolKitHelper:SpeechRecognition ToolKitHelper:WinSAT ToolKitHelper:AssignedAccess ToolKitHelper:CEIP_SQM ToolKitHelper:FaceRecognition ToolKitHelper:KernelDebugging ToolKitHelper:LocationService ToolKitHelpericturePassword ToolKitHelperinEnrollment ToolKitHelper:UnifiedTelemetryClient ToolKitHelper:WiFiNetworkManager ToolKitHelper:WindowsInsiderHub ToolKitHelper:HomeGroup ToolKitHelper:MultiPointConnector ToolKitHelper:RemoteAssistance ToolKitHelpereviceLockdown ToolKitHelper:EaseOfAccessThemes ToolKitHelper:SecurityCenter ToolKitHelper:SystemRestore ToolKitHelper:WindowsSubsystemForLinux ToolKitHelper:WindowsToGo ToolKitHelper:AADBrokerPlugin ToolKitHelper:AssignedAccessLockApp ToolKitHelper:BioEnrollment ToolKitHelper:CBSPreview ToolKitHelper:ContentDeliveryManager ToolKitHelper:Cortana ToolKitHelper:ECApp ToolKitHelper:EdgeDevToolsClient ToolKitHelper:FileExplorer ToolKitHelper:LockApp ToolKitHelper:MapControl ToolKitHelper:NarratorQuickStart ToolKitHelper:OneDrive ToolKitHelperarentalControls ToolKitHelpereopleExperienceHost ToolKitHelperPIProjection ToolKitHelper:QuickAssist ToolKitHelper:RetailDemoContent ToolKitHelper:SecureAssessmentBrowser ToolKitHelper:SettingSync ToolKitHelper:SkypeORTC ToolKitHelper:SmartScreen ToolKitHelper:Win32WebViewHost ToolKitHelper:WindowsDefender ToolKitHelper:WindowsMixedReality ToolKitHelper:WindowsReaderPDF ToolKitHelper:XboxGameCallableUI ToolKitHelper:3DViewer ToolKitHelper:AdvertisingXaml ToolKitHelper:Alarms ToolKitHelper:BingWeather ToolKitHelper:Calculator ToolKitHelper:Camera ToolKitHelper:CommunicationsApps ToolKitHelperesktopAppInstaller ToolKitHelper:FeedbackHub ToolKitHelper:GetHelp ToolKitHelper:Getstarted ToolKitHelper:HEIFImageExtension ToolKitHelper:Maps ToolKitHelper:Messaging ToolKitHelper:MixedRealityPortal ToolKitHelper:OfficeHub ToolKitHelper:OfficeOneNote ToolKitHelper:OneConnect ToolKitHelperaint3D ToolKitHelpereople ToolKitHelperhotos ToolKitHelperrint3D ToolKitHelper:ScreenSketch ToolKitHelper:SkypeApp ToolKitHelper:SolitaireCollection ToolKitHelper:SoundRecorder ToolKitHelper:StickyNotes ToolKitHelper:VP9VideoExtensions ToolKitHelper:WalletService ToolKitHelper:WebMediaExtensions ToolKitHelper:WebpImageExtensions ToolKitHelper:WindowsStore ToolKitHelper:XboxApp ToolKitHelper:XboxIdentityProvider ToolKitHelper:YourPhone ToolKitHelper:ZuneMusic ToolKitHelper:ZuneVideo This happens when I launch reboot system with advanced options: comes up to starts with the "command prompt" then hangs on the next screen and does not start WinPE and does not even take commands to exit the F8 page and Restart. I was asking you what package it might be that breaks WinPE. P.S Translated with Google translator
I think it's because you deleted SystemRestore, but why you want to enter in advanced options ? For me the safe mode works even if I have errors at startup.
I am experiencing an issue not related to MSMG't Toolit, but perhaps as a result of using it. I removed Microsoft Store from my Windows installation and the new Nvidia drivers now require that the Nvidia Control Panel be installed from the Microsoft Store - obviously I cannot do this. I have downloaded NVIDIACorp.NVIDIAControlPanel_8.1.956.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj.Appx and NVIDIACorp.NVIDIAControlPanel_8.1.956.0_x64__56jybvy8sckqj.BlockMap with AdGuard, but nothing happens when I double click them. How do I install them?
there is also the option via command prompt as Admin: bcdedit /set bootmenupolicy legacy I find more productive when necessary to access safe mode just press the F8 key as Windows 7
@Feartamixg @MSMG I read somewhere else that Microsoft started to force the 3rd party companies to use their Windows Store to be able to install some of their components!? Does it mean, for now, it is not a good idea to remove the Windows Store and the Desktop App Installer? Is maybe there any other Windows or System app that is better to not remove it to avoid similar issues? Thanks
I have also read this. If this is the case, then I shall not remove Desktop App Installer in the future, however this means I have to expand the ToolKitHelper:WindowsApps list from RemovePkgsList.txt and remove Desktop App Installer from the list. Is there some way to remove ToolKitHelper:WindowsApps then put Desktop App Installer back when it is done?
But in LTSC edition, the Nvidia App is downloaded and installed automatically by the OS. In LTSC though the Store Client App or Desktop App Installer is not present but still the Store back-end files are present. Yes you can re-add the Desktop App by Integrating the Appx and it's license.
off topic. where can i get help for my laptop. i have a dell and when am watching youtube videos it shuts off. if i play a normal video of complete movie no problems. if i download big files no problems. its randomly.
MayBe try other Online Video Browser Platform and figure out if LapTop Shutdown . . Try other Browser to watch Youtube and show if Laptop Shutdown . . . are Test without LapTop Shutdowns than maybe its a Problem by Youtube and its Components they are in use on Your 0s ! ? !
Thanks for the info. Will have to wait till MSMG can figure out how to tame windows 10. Will have to stay in 1809 for now. ^_^
