    Article 1 mentions avira to be the probable cause: "Fingers now point to Avira", the article ends with: "I swear, if somebody tells me again how Windows patches are getting better, I’m gonna bust a blood vessel." biassed opinionated.

    I noticed you've deleted the posts now.

    Every month there will be certain articles about "problems" caused by the updates.

    I don't claim there are no problems but none of them can be called disastrous, except the 17763.1 user files deletion bug in upgrade scenarios. But then again, 17763.1 was not a release to the general public.

    So basically what should I not delete to keep these codecs? I looked in the various options but I can't really figure this out.

    Hello,
    Since 2004 isn't ready for removal yet , I still stick to 1909 but it downloads drivers automatically as soon as Internet is available even though I used tweak to disable and seems disabled when you check from "advanced system settings" , anyone had same issue?

    So basically it still doesn't work with 1909? Can't really use Windows 10 without Windows Update..

    Hi! I want to report an error! In MSMG ToolKit v. 9.6, when installing Win 10 Pro_2004-19041.153_Ru_x64 , this method does not work ! OneDrive is being installed!

    Hi! The Compact OS function containing as part of the MSMG Toolkit v. 9.6 for Win 10 1909? Or we can used cmd and unattended separately. Thanks...

    You may use Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019. That is supported by the utility, has a long windows update support for 9-10 years & don't bring back the removed components.

    Try retaining WMP, Speech and WinSAT, if it works then remove WinSAT and Speech one at a time and then again try out to check for the actual component breaking the Game.

    Sort of, something like the phrase it works but it won't.. since v1903 the MS changed the method for CU integration which restores the removed components.

    That's the actual entry in the registry which runs the onedrive setup, will checkout if any better method to just disable it and let you know.

    The Compact OS function is not added in Toolkit, you can use a separate cmd or unattended method.

    That's the version I'm using at the moment. Would prefer to use the latest build instead.

    I understand that things have changed with 1903 :) The reason I asked was that Toolkit 9.5 seemed to work the same way with 1909 (i.e. things got restored after WU), so I'm not sure what the Changelog entry is for.

    Someone gives me a tip on how to apply these tweaks, "shows not all data was successfully written to the registry" (Windows 10 v1909)
