If I want to add custom registry settings, how does the registry file have to look? Lets say, I have this in a reg file: Code: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons] "29"="C:\\Windows\\blank.ico" Does it stay this way? Or do i need to change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\TK_SOFTWARE?
please use registry convertor powershell script inside bin directory of your MSMG toolkit to convert your registry according to toolkit for successfull integeration.
Just to report back, i found out that removing Cortana was causing Control Panel to crush and not open at all. Also Cortana seems to break search function on start menu but also search on File Explorer. Its odd no one has mentioned that before, but im glad i solved the issues i had without having to test every component because that would be impossible. Hope that it helps anyone who is facing same issues and i don't come into any new conflicts on my new fresh installation.
Hi everyone, I need to prepare a Windows 10 ONLY for working One Note for Windows 10 and Office 365. This application needs to be updated on every update that Microsoft releases. I use an MSMG to delete everything besides a One note and windows store but updates don't work. Did I need to leave more options?
You can copy the reg entries to a reg file and place it under <Cutom\Registry\w10\x64> and then use the [5] Customize -> Import Registry Setting using Registry File menu.
