Missing driver during installation occur when the Boot.wim is updated with the latest updates and corresponding setup files in the setup DVD source folder are left with old version.
For this you need to check whether the restored components are fully restored and not partially by the CU. You can extract the policy files from stock WIM image to Installation directory.
There are too many dependent components and if the user uses the list method then the query's can't be used there since it's the ToolkitHelper which reads the list. In the menu it's already been mentioned about the Dependency info.
Read the Readme.txt and the changelog to know which version is supported. If you are using non English image better wait for next release.
Those are the actual packages for Defender, will try restoring the Defender to know any other packages are required, may be the Windows Security App needs to be restored, will check out.
Yes, my image language is English. By CU, do you mean Cumulative Updates? Can you point me towards a guide or a tutorial on how to add the CU by component removal? Sorry if it's such a noob question, I came across a week back and while all of this has been absolutely fantastic, I'll still new to almost everything.
After the release of v10.6, few reported SFC errors with non English images and have asked them to wait for an update, so you too may need to wait for next version of Toolkit.
coud u pleas tell me wich version i will use in non english to work fine with toolkit until next releas
Bug in version 10.6. the original image 19041.208 ru-ru was used. After deleting a component: ToolKitHelper Mount AdobeFlashForWindows ToolKitHelper Mount CEIP_SQM ToolKitHelper Mount KernelDebugging ToolKitHelper Mount UnifiedTelemetryClient ToolKitHelper Mount WindowsInsiderHub ToolKitHelper Mount SecurityCenter ToolKitHelper Mount EdgeDevToolsClient ToolKitHelper Mount Edge ToolKitHelper Mount MapControl ToolKitHelper Mount OneDrive ToolKitHelper Mount QuickAssist ToolKitHelper Mount WindowsMixedReality ToolKitHelper Mount WindowsReaderPDF ToolKitHelper Mount WindowsDefender ToolKitHelper Mount XboxGameCallableUI ToolKitHelper Mount GameExplorer ToolKitHelper Mount FileExplorer ToolKitHelper Mount PeopleExperienceHost Cumulative updates are not set. Logs below. I do not know which component causes the installation error. But for some reason, a lot of problems with deleting something constantly.
Hi dhyllin and to MDL only my opinion if you remove components using list is not good ideia, first read the Readme from MSMG Toolkit before making modifications ok
Hi thanks for the reply, i'm trying to select "Remove Windows Components" from the menu but it's missing like seen in the picture I posted.
