Include the below list with ToolKitHelper removal instead of removing with PowerShell SolitaireCollection, SoundRecorder, StickyNotes, Xbox.TCUI, XboxApp, XboxGameOverlay, XboxGamingOverlay, XboxIdentityProvider, XboxSpeechToTextOverlay, YourPhone, ZuneMusic, ZuneVideo Sometimes mixing removal methods can break one or the functionality.
It's a tricky thing it will be enabled but applying any setting will not stick to it. If you need to have a full working thing for that you need Smart Screen and Defender to be retained.
Well, I need to have a choice of installation in the applications, by deleting the smart screen I will get it?
It turns out you need to .572 embed without cleaning, so that it passes the test? Version 10.8 does not support 19041.1?
Why so much confusion, just download a 19041.1 image, add required updates .572/.608/.610, remove the components and save the image. Just don't run the image cleanup.
@MSMG Hello MSMG. I used the below image to service the iso. en_windows_10_business_editions_version_1909_updated_oct_2020_x64_dvd_3cfd51ef.iso I integrated Directx and Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 Feature but i am not able to find "Microsoft.NET Framework 4.8 Feature" in MSMG 10.8. So does this mean that Dot Net 4.8 is inbuilt in the above iso ? Thank you
I have used another approach to simply remove IE, Adobeflash, and all above apps and more except Solitaire & Calc, with RemovePkgsList, seems to work in vm. what are these updates for kb4588844, kb4579305, According to MS they will be installed from winupdate, dont see them installing, but if i want to make a multi os, can i use them ? do i need language pack in winpe, i use build 19041.1 in my own language, but powershell right click menu in start, seems to become english after sysprep, is it a MS bug ? I tried the updates, and yes it is a ms bug, one of those updates fixet powershell, how do i add them in multi The gold image is almost there.
the same condition with new version v10.8 even I make iso with decrypt-multi-release Nothing removed even after I unmount the image and remount try to remove the same items a message came this been removed
Thanks, will the default one remove all the pinned icons? I searched the custom folder for XML files and didn't find any, is that where I should be looking?
kb4588844 - the update which add updated setup files to Windows Installation DVD sources folder. kb4579305 - update for winpe images and this is for WinRE.wim If you are going to make Multilingual installation media, yes you need to add language pack for winpe (boot.wim, winre.wim) images. Choose all indexes you need to service an then use the Integrate WHD update pack menu to include updates to all indexes.
Oops, sorry its in <Bin\XMLs> folder, just use the Import custom start menu layout, it will remove all pinned tiles and places only one notepad icon, which you can remove it after install.
@MSMG I used the same exact steps as Feartamixg https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/msmg-toolkit.50572/page-858#post-1628084 I attached the CBS log when testing in a VM. is there something i'm missing where i'm getting errors and Feartamixg isn't?
I think it's better to use the standard cab files provided by Microsoft since the Microsoft has made a lot of changes to Edge Installer which makes it difficult to include in packs.
