No the Toolkit doesn't support this feature but you can mount the image and load the image registry using the Toolkit and then open a command prompt to modify the package settings in the registry and remove the update package.
Yes it's old update, I haven't had updated my Updates repo as I don't use the Intel CPU microcode update since I do use a Ryzen PC.
just wanna said thanks to @MSMG for this unbelieveable tool has u made and share it just for free so poor user like me can use this type of tool
@MSMG When do you plan to fix this problem? "Integrating or installing Windows updates after the component removal will restore the removed components and this is due to the recent change in Microsoft update mechanism." Thanks in advance for your reply.
MSMG is a great tool but sometimes I wonder if there is any intention for a Windows GUI or at least visual hints in current form, my problem is losing track of which components I removed at current session so would really appreciate a visual clue for ones already removed. ( Or ability to select multiple components at once )
seems bugs about disable features and pending. I added .NET Framework 3.5 which makes Windows 10 images in Pending. Then I disable and uninstall the .NET Framework 3.5 when it in "Pending Install" status. But It still can't clean up the image, It still said something is pending. Error log: Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.20279.1 Image Version: 10.0.17763.1697 Error: 0x800f0806 The operation could not be completed due to pending operations.
Yes, I deleted the whole folder and started from scratch and it worked like a charm. Working great now. Thanks for the help.
I tried that, and then I started getting errors of "not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file." and the system couldn't find my ISO file that was in the ISO folder.
Yes GUI is under development, will update about this later, In the current version of Toolkit you can select multiple components at once for removal, the selected components will have a [-] sign prefixed in their menu and un-selected components will have [+] sign.
What updates or features had you integrated other than the NETF35? Need to check if disabling and removing NET 35 also stages the operation to be performed upon installation.
Running the Toolkit under root solves most of the errors, make sure the Antivirus is not interfering with the Toolkit folder.
I'm still having issues with the toolkit not actually burning ISO images. It goes through the process of removing everything, however when it goes to complete the process of actually trying to apply the changes to burn later, nothing happens. It goes through the process of mounting, unmounting and applying tweaks, and I'm getting quite aggravated. Am I using a bad image of windows loaded in or something?
