Thanks for your help, urie. To get the lowest risk as possible, I think the best idea would be to send me your currently running mod of it. So we can be sure that there are no issues. I'll have a look at it (I assume it's a SSV3 mod.). I'll just remove the call from RSDT to SLIC. This surly won't do any harm, except Vista won't activate anymore. After that I'll need a AcpiScope report as well. That's all. If you want I can make a (working) mod. of your latest bios as well.

Thank you for all your work. Now we know it won't activate. Your bios contains a XSDT, but isn't shown at AcpiScope report. We have to think about that result. You may flash your working bios again. If you need a mod of your latest bios let me know. Have a nice weekend.
Well, I've seen your revision of RSDP isn't ver2.0 so XSDT isn't used. Your bios contains XSDT, but doesn't use it. To get additional results we need to rerun the same test with a new AMI bios, to have a look again. Is there anybody else who wants to support me?
@petar Could you please do a test for me? According to your AcpiScope file your RSDT points to SLIC to 7F6DBDFAh. Your RSDT is located at 7F6D26A0h. We need to know if Vista still activates if there is only a pointer to SLIC at XSDT. Would you please locate your RSDT using Hwdirect and modify the pointer to SLIC to something else? It's found at offset 3Ch of RSDT. (FA BD 6D 7F). Could you modify these four bytes using Hwdirect that RSDT doesn't point to SLIC anymore and have a look if Vista is still activated? After you've changed these four bytes (or at least one of them) have a look at AcpiScope to see if RSDT doesn't point to SLIC anymore. Only XSDT should point to. Thanks!
Yen i will download latest bios 2.30 7/18/2008 383.27KB Modify memory code. rather than older version 2.20 and mod with AMI_SLIC3_20080419 version the one you modded will let you how that go's see if it activates will post AcpiScope report if it activates i think it will then i will post link to bios my modded bios and you can try modding again if you know whay i mean.
Thanks for your work. I've seen there isn't even a RSDT anymore and it remained activated. I think flagmax may start coding if he want. One additional question: Is it 32 bit Vista?
