What, IF I GET BRAVE, shoul I try:
1- This one with the above LOG, using 1-alternate method AND 2- Allow bootblock, OR
2- The one I posted before, checking 1- alternate method, 2-manual location, 3-allow nvram AND 4-allow bootblock

Wich one would be YOUR best bet, considering both LOGs are posted here on the forum?
    Thanks again.

    The log still shows

    SLIC inserted at 10

Which is not in the bootblock. I think for safety's sake the 'allow bootblock' does just that, allows it to be there but doesn't put it there if it feels there are other, safer, locations. I need to have a look at the BIOS agin tonight and pick a location.

    Andy,
I would like to thankyou again for your great help.
I hope "our experiences" during the process help you make a better slic tool yet for all of us.
    Thanks.
