Could you have a look at v1.40 (see first post) and check you agree with the output!

    Thanks

Hasn't SSV3 been unsuccessful on a few gigabytes recently???
I must say I am a little out of touch with Award so I bow to your better judgement!

I will hopefully get a chance to have a look at FACS again tonight. Am working late though and I have just had to send my laptop (which I do all the programming on) back to Dell as it keeps blue screening - boo hiss!

To my knowledge the SSV3 Mod only fails when the EPA is no longer included in the BIOS,
if the tool successfully completes with SSV3 it should work.
The SSV3 Mod does Not work if the BIOS does Not contain an EPA Module (most of the newest BIOS Updates from Gigabyte do Not).
SSV3 Mod has failed to properly activate a VERY Few Gigabyte MB's (that did contain an EPA Module) in the past though and we will have to have someone with a particular MB to test the mod to be sure.
But in General if the BIOS contains an EPA Module and an SSV3 Mod completes successfully it almost always works.

Gigabyte calls from ggroup, others from the mainbiosmodule and some from the acpimodule itself...the mainbiosmodule cannot be extended over 128k...

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
