I try mod new beta version F4a for Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3 and get this: Unable to perform an SSV3 mod as there is no EPA module. Then try OEM7 and get: EPA module must follow ACPI module. With version of bios F3 i able succesfully mod bios with SSV3 method and its working. Have Gigabyte changed their bios in other way? Thanks.

Try OEM7 / ACPITbl. at end or FACS. :friends2:

    Not yet.

I was wondering if there is a conflict with RAID.

    Hmm..
The position of the acpitbl module doesn't matter.
It's either the extended FACS or the changed offset of ggroup module that causes the problem.
OEM7 and 0+2 don't change the offset of ggroup...

To exclude the latter you could make a mod with a dummy module, original acpitable at the end, ggroup extended with some dummy bytes......to move its offset backwards to fit. -26h bytes at the biosimage

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

It is very difficult for me - it's not my best ... o_O

But I am glad that OEM7 (and 0+2) works very well.

I think that similar problems (such as GA-890FXA-UD5) may occur with GA-890FXA-UD7.

FACS mode is just curiosity ...:drive1:

Tomorrow I will try and make a few of test BIOSes

    1) GGROUP with code but CALL not patched so never executed, and normal ACPI at end
    2) GGROUP with code but CALL not patched and modified ACPI at end
    3) Normal GGROUP with modified ACPI at end

    This should narrow it down,
    Andy
