Hi guys, I am loosing track of this. Roman - what exactly are you testing now?? Is a FACS mod working or are you now looking at SSV3?? (I ask as I am just finishing off adding SSV3 with ACPITBL at end to tool) Andy
Thanks, i cannot wait. With FACS mode i get Win 7 loaded and working, but also get randomly BSOD with "IRQ is not equal or ...." GA-770T-USB3 bios F4a. With bios F3 and SSV3 mod i have comp run without problems. So i wait on SSV3 mod. Thanks.
I was wondering, since your problem seems to related with ACPI, does the DSDT table is intact after mod? Maybe during reintegration, to fit it in original offset, the tool change the length or checksum of the DSDT to 0x00. I'm confident this is the case. Just my 2 cents.
Try v1.46 (see first post) for SSV3 mod with ACPITBL at end (select method from Advanced page - Force Adjustment Method in SSV3 section). Andy
That's interesting! That RD890S table is no valid table according to ACPI specifications! And it disappears at the OEM7 mod. OEM7 mod is working though. I guess Gigabyte has screwed something with that revision. That's probably the reason why dynamic FACS doesn't work here. Is that bogus RD890S table found at previous releases of the original bios? I guess not. I wouldn't waste more time to get the FACS mod working here. It probably works again at next revision. Fact is that other static methods are working here...if you absolutely want a dynamic mod, stay at previous revision, otherwise use the ssv3 or OEM7 mod.

Thank you very much andyp and to everyone who's helping out. I confirm the new Method: Awardtool 1.46 / FACS works with Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P rev1 and Bios Version F13.
