Well, if we are to go by 'Cortana specific' the icon on the 'Remind Me' seems to look like notification kind of thing that differentiates it from what we known about Cortana in Windows Phone. It is a voice feature that allows you to place a call, send message and do other things which would have required manual interactions. I am suggesting it to function like the alarm not necessarily means it is the alarm in Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. Microsoft changing the name should be out of the question because that Remind Me has a notification icon and could be just the feedback reminder of messages received and sent by Microsoft feedback team to have better idea of what changes have been made to the Windows 9.There is good idea it could serve as a feature to improve the functionality of Cortana through feedback until the beta is launched. It could also be something else despite it is named Remind Me.

Did anyone else notice the very subtle but huge drop shadows beneath the windows? I like it, it makes overlapping windows less cluttered while still maintaining the clean look.
Glad to see they've started replacing the Vista-icons. I think they started already with Windows 8 development but scrapped it. I remember finding some flat icons in .dll files that were never used.

Perhaps you are correct. But, the date on those screenshots is clearly today's date. We will!

While it may being running in a VM, W9 is also meant to run on low end systems, as well as high end systems.

I like the start menu but I'm not too Keen on the icons, otherwise very good shots, also like the Multiple desktops

EDIT: and yes those PCBeta reports were fake, I knew that from the word go

    ok I'll bite.

I can only assume the "Big F'n icons on the start menu" can be removed by right clicking and remove, like the current start menu. We will all know soon.

If people are dissatisfied with W9, just wait for the RTM. There will be no end of of bitching and moaning about what is not inluded.
