At the moment someone with a very slow connection is uploading install.wim what we think may be x64 PRO (and able to be activated judging from some screenshots if from same source) the guy uploading is the same guy i think that leaked the ENT edition and its around 70% complete uploading. This is most likely EN-US also but no one is 100% yet going on screenshots floating about with pro English activated and pro English desktop it most likely is. Give it around 2-3hs for upload to finish and then wait for more public leak.
Don't that me thank PCBeta and our lovely member FaiKee for keeping us posted. This could still turn out to be a dead end. Might end up a fake or even a 64bit Cinese .wim or frankenbuild i dont think anyone knows for sure yet. (this is why topic was closed on here i think) As soon as we get some conformation i am sure a new topic will spring up with all the juicy details.
I love watching these threads. It should be apparent at this point that nobody knows when the leaks will come. The best you can do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Just keep checking the threads and reading. I'm sure the posts will be blatantly obvious when something new is available.
Just one question, this new 8.1 9600, does it come as a service pack, where we need to slipstream, or is actually an ISO ready to install?
And Yen get busy to close those new and useless thread's about the leak of Windows 8.1! I would say: Be patient and wait for the real release which will come sometimes these days. And use only the good one of those coming!
ISO and update from the store for 8, not sure if you can get the actual update as a file to slipstream
Yen, could I ask a favor? When I post the Pro link here, you re-open the locked thread, expect to happen in about an hour.
I absolutely understand as well. I've only been a member here since 2009 (joined while Win7 was being signed off). I do find some humor in all of the posts being made during these RTM/leak processes (win7, win8, now win8.1). If anything, I've found this to be a very open community. When something is made available, there are always clear instructions/directions about how to find it.
Thank god I have access to my Hyper-V server from work, can test and make sure it's the real deal before I get home
