Don't worry about it. Just delete it. I have a 1 click solution now. Are you formating or are you following Yen's directions. Just make sure you undo everything you have done so far as it pertains to the patch. The .ats report you uploaded is identical to your first report. Let me know when you are ready and make sure your system is clean. Also uninstall RW-eveything too.
I never heard of robocopy either. I typed xcopy/? to get some help with switches and it told to use robocopy instead. Can you believe that, a DOS box told me to use something better. I was shocked......lol Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that. Now it will really be a 1 click solution. I am still researching as to how to do it.
ok, but I'm so confuse now, that I don't know what I have to do.... half I know from You, half from Yen... I understood that, I have to have clean vista sp1??? yes?? without all files and patches?? ok, i'll format my computer and i'll read what idea U have. but please, give me step by step instructions, what to do and all need files. waiting for Your answer. one more... when I'll be install vista, I shall instal it without or with serial number and which serial number?
I don't have Vista 64 bit, but you can try this: Copy the following files to the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ autoexnt.bat autoexnt.exe instexnt.exe servmess.dll AND autoexnt.bat to C:\Windows\System32 folder. Open a command prompt with administrator rights and type: cd C:\Windows\SysWOW64. Then type instexnt install and press ENTER. You should get the following message: CreateService AutoExNT SUCCESS with InterActive Flag turned OFF. Continue with Reginas instructions.............
Yen can U help me with my vista activation?? I can't solve that problem until now please, upload the most important files and write step by step from begin to end, how active vista. I'll instal clean vista 32bit sp1 on my hp 6715s. thanks..
@ Hagen Please wait till Regina returns. She is more familiar with your *.ats @flagmax Will play now with grub!
Report1 -Managed to add grub4dos entry to Vista boot loader -managed to execute (floppy) patch sucessfully -returned to Vista bootloader, had to choose Vista........ I'm satisfied for today, will make it perfect. To hexedit the IMG file directly to any SLIC works!! Playing with that is very exciting and a new matter........... I'm sure this will be a perfect method....... Is it possible to run Vista without to choose it? When it returns to bootmgr you come to the menue and you have to select it............
I was very excited myself when it worked for the first time I don't know if we can automate the startup process when using Vista bootmgr to launch grub. A user needs to select inside Vista bootmgr grub first time, then Vista second time. Its like a circle. Now if you install grub to mbr, then it should work like other Softmods out there. I was told you must find a special register and flip certain bits to disable write protect, BUT its Northbridge chipset specific, that means we need datasheets for every mobo which is not easily accessable. So maybe we can still go that route later as its way over my head and very user specific.
Now I can but only in vmware so far Method works. I simply moved RSDT backwards 4 bytes, changed size+4, added new Entry for SLIC, computed checksum and wrote SLIC in free space, then changed the RSDT address in RSD PTR by subtracting 4, update checksum and BINGO!!! I see you... So I say, if you know your bit, then you can SLIC it 100%. Edit: !!!MUST ONLY DO THIS IN VMWARE!!! >WPCI 0 0 0 59h 30h
reginakampher I have one more ask. If U help me with my hp 6715s, can I ask, if U do patch for vista 64 bit with sp1??
Ok, Yen, I will stay with vista sp1 32 bit. I want only one thing.... I want active my vista sp1 and I'll be very happy.... only that..
