I am so confused, that I don't know, what is going on now.... can anybody tell me what I have to do now?? Flagmax, Your patch will be working on hp 6715s?? and if not, do You work for "universal" activation patch??
Hagen: I understand this thread is getting confusing to you. It is because we are working on completely new methods. The methods are NOT perfected or finalized yet. When will we be done we CAN NOT say. We are not following any dead-lines because its research. We get new ideas and technics as we go along. One day its this, next day its that Anyways, I suggest you wait until the methods are proven, tested and ready for average user. The methods are very fresh, not sure if they will work 100% for every person.
OK, I'm back now with my laptop at my desk.... I've been folowing this therad, but haven't tested anything. BTW, I would be glad to do some test for you, or anything else I can help with...
Great. Does your PC have a partially mapped or unmapped SLIC table? I am dying to test out the batch file I wrote for the 1 click AutoExNT method. It works in VMware but I would love to test it on a real machine. If you are interested, I need the .ats report and which version of Vista you are running. If you are NOT interested, I am still grateful for your offer. EDIT: It must be a fresh install, 32bit version, and you must have NOT played with system time prior to the installation of the patch. After the installation, you may play with the system time for testing purposes.
I'm in, I will have some time to spear this afternoon and i will do a clean install then a ghost image so I won't have to redo the installation if this does not work.
@Hagen Yes, it woks for bioses with a mapped but unusable SLIC already. It seems you want to try it. IF you want to try it, tell me please: Are you using multiboot (boot more than one OS)? Or Vista only? How many physical HDD are installed at your Nootebook? One only? I have to work again..... but later I can provide the first version (fully integrated) without any (known) issue. No boot cd needed! Yes it works at 64 bit Vista as well ........CU later.....
