Thanks for the reply. I guess I will stop my futile search for an Asus slic 2.1 bios.

Why is that so? How sure are you; or are you just joking?

Just because one hasn't been found yet?

Or do you have some sort of evidence to support that claim.....?

Hi..suicide solution, the Toshiba certs provided in the download does not work with the slic v2.1,..for each Toshiba slic v2.1 we have to provide different certs that is available in the vista certs clloection..it would be nice if u could modify your download folder..thanks

Extracted this from a Packard Bell iMedia D5222 BE
It's an ACER slic 2.1 , just a few bytes differ from the one posted here.
    Not ANNI but MSFT.

    ???

Is it a binary dump of your own computer's ACPI or did you extract its BIOS update file?
I have Packard Bell's iMedia D5222 BE, but it doesn't have your ACER SLIC 2.1 TABLE.

A friend just bought this 3 days ago. He has a free Windows 7 Upgrade, so I checked the bios, and it had the Acer slic2.1.

    Yes, I do.

BTW. You won't say that when you get to know FreeStyler.
