OA 2.x SLIC & OEM Certificate Collection

Doubt

I modded my P5k SE bios with HP slic 2.1 an HP 2.0 cert. Win 7 Home premium is activated and all works fine. Now I see that there are news Hp 2.1 certs. Does it means that I must reflash my bios in the future with those news certs.

 

Nope, you can still use the old cert, if you prefer the newer you can just install it (replacing) the older one

 

You mean with this cmd comand: C:\Windows\system32>slmgr.vbs -ilc c:\hp.new-cert.

What's up with Gigabyte? see all types of certificates but no gigabyte. I have a gigabyte board would like matching certificate, would look better for modded bios.

 

One of my 3 computers has a gigabyte board and I have a mod with HP SLIC 2.1 and it works great....you do not need a gigabyte slic or certificate to activate windows 7---my HP SLIC does jjust fine for my gigabyte board.

To answer the real question, there is no gigabyte certificates at this time which have come our way or we would have posted them.
