The system apps you remove are NOT installed when you install Windows after using Optimise Offline, just the app folders are not deleted is all, which makes little difference on most systems, they take minimal space. After I check my running Windows, the apps removed are not installed at all. And if you see my earlier post about W10UI integrating updates, they don't get reinstalled after installing the latest CU if you follow that method.
@KedarWolf what do I need to comment out in the setadditional to keep action center and notifications please?
Even though I remove Windows Defender (Windows.SecHealthUI), I still have the occasional program that won’t run and it seems Defender is flagging it as Malware. Does this mean Defender is still running in the background?
Heads up! Before you spend hours reading about the parameter configuration documentation and waiting for the build to finish. The output of this tool removes the... what is it called.. the autoruns-like-a-CD feature of the original ISO. I was trying to use the ISO to upgrade. It seems to be just the flashable/bootable kind.
Is there any tutorial of how to use this script to debloat my win10? Also , can this tool work with already installed windows 10 versions?
On the OP, first page of the thread is the tutorial, and no, it can't be used in an already installed Windows.
But I beleive improving the O-O to be Multilanguage-compatible is not an "insane" task for the expert. Probably integrating part is a stop-factor. Removing (the most interesting) part should be universal.
@drew84 I'm saying not about "translation", but "compatibility" when launched on non-English machines. I had a quick look at the en-US folder (GitHub issue) and didn't found critical lines for such ability (may be I'm wrong here). 1) I'm not a coder to say for sure about critical lines 2) First - ability to launch, second (if necessary) - talk about translation points and everything the rest (I simply even don't know how O-O looks like)
